STAR WARS™ Episode I: Racer

It's a great game form my childhood, but it runs only the first time you start the game and next time when you format your pc... Please fix this, i dont want money back i want to play the game. Thanks,

The graphics were real life back in 1999 and the speed was unreal. Now the graphics don't look so hot, but the speed and silky smooth gameplay more than makes up for it. Still a blast to play. The cutscenes are tiny on my screen, but the gameplay is normal 4:3 ratio goodness. Worked right out of the digital box on my 2012 Toshiba Qosmio Windows 7 64 laptop with no issues or crashing.

Can't say anymore than the others. It's Racer just as good as you remember it and I'm in love again. But I am having a major problem where randomly the game will get locked on going left and the entire keyboard turns unresponsive, no way to stop it from sticking left. Only fix is to quit the game and go back in. I sadly don't have any other keyboards to test but wondering if anyone else is having this problem and may have any fix for it.

The game is pretty short but definitely worth it. It's one of those classic games that are easy to play and hard to master. The tracks are amazing and varied and overall this is probably one of the best arcade racers out there to this day. Disable any overlay app (e.g. Rivatuner/MSI Afterburner) if the game does not start.

The game happened is similar to F-Zero and after selling my N64 on an emulator it has thrilled me every year and now I can finally enjoy it again as a PC port. Unfortunately, the settings and the controller support in the menu aren't the best, but there are also worse. Nevertheless, a clear purchase recommendation. 5/5
