Abysmal forced sections.
The warp core breach mission ruins the entire game. Nuff said.

Disappointing Sequel
Apart from the tricorder puzzles, this is just a worse game in every way. Everything that made the first one so charming is basically absent. The weapons are less satisfying to use, the story is dumb, Munro is now an arrogant snob (you can't choose the gender either), and then there is this god-awful mouse smoothing and acceleration that makes aiming absolutely diabolical (and no, you can't disable it). On top of all that, the levels just consistently devolve into grinds. Every time you're introduced to a new mechanic, be warned that it will not be utilized with restraint as you progress. Rather, it will just be ratcheted up to the nth-degree so you can be miserable and feel challenged.

Last played in 2003
Still holds up pretty well. I first played this back on good old Windows XP. Currently playing on my 2022 PC and it holds up really well for a Quake Engine game. Much better than Elite Force 1 which gave me a lot of technical issues. This one works fine out of the gate.

Great sequel
Much better than Elite Force 1, more variety in gameplay and locations.
