nice story - frustrating gamedesign

Star Trek™: Elite Force II is a shooter to the bone and not a good game, no matter how you put it. Movement is wobbly, not as bad as in The Chronicles of Riddick but close. Weapons feel numb and some game design choices are just terrible. From the Invasion of the Enterprice on - which has bad timed missions - level design gets more and more unfair. For me the whole Enterprise invasion part is just terrible game design and utterly frustrating and made me nearly quit. This is sad since Elite Force 2 really has some nice setpieces, that borrows from Aliens and Predator movies and others and has a good story line and likable NPCs with even some funny moments - even when most of the support NPC are underdelivered. But ultimately the 1st Elite Force is way more fun and satisfying to play and the better game.

Great game but...

Great game but there's a "bug" due to the game being old, it's got a simple fix that you can find on gog's elite force 2 forum so can't complain.

Best Star Trek Game I've played

This "boomer shooter" hold up! Especially if your a fan of Star Trek. I never even watched much Voyager and still had a blast. There are great mods out there that help make it even better.
