Crippled by stupid infuriating puzzles
This game would be fantastic if it had stuck to FPS mechanics; the tricorder puzzles are a deal breaker.

Buggy and annoying
The game crashes if you set the resolution up to full and can only be fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling. Additionally, some times when you pull your weapon out it will automatically start firing either main or alternate fire OR it won't read the input when you want to fire - this has caused me to shoot my allies or not be able to shoot my enemies several times. Additionally, the Borg will adapt to your weapon fire but without explanation the secondary on your starting rifle will work even if they've adapted to the primary fire of it (this doesn't work for the alt of the hand phaser) which is just confusing. And for some reason your allies have a melee option that you don't , which is annoying because the Borg quickly become adapted to everything you have but your allies melee option still works. I've just finished playing the first one and loved it, but this is a major let down. I'm not even past the first level and I've lost any interest in going further. It also seems to lag no matter what settings I use in some areas.

"Doesn't work on MY machine"
First game that I have ever bought from GoG which either won't run or can't be fixed to run with a little research and trial and error. Pretty typical win 10 machine so you might want to just avoid it if you're on the fence
