You're on a path in the woods, and at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a Princess.
You're here to slay her. If you don't, it will be the end of the world.
She will do everything in her power to stop you. She'll charm, and she'll lie, and she'll promise you the world, and if you let her, she'll kill you a dozen times over. You can't let that happen. Don't forget, the fate of the world rests on your shoulders.
You're not going to listen to him, are you? We're supposed to save princesses, not slay them...
Features
A princess. She's very bad and you have to get rid of her for all our sakes.
No, the Princess isn't a cosmic horror. She's just an ordinary human Princess, and you can definitely slay her as long as you put your mind to it.
Don't even think about trying to romance her. It won't end well for you.
Hopefully you won't die. But if you do, you'll die a lot. Be careful and stay focused on the task at hand!
Time loops No time loops. Don't be ridiculous. Time is a strictly linear concept and it certainly doesn't "loop," whatever that's supposed to mean.
A branching narrative where what you say and what you believe determines both your build and how the story unfolds.
A new roleplaying experience from the creators of Scarlet Hollow.
Fully voice-acted by the impeccable Jonathan Sims and Nichole Goodnight.

I had no idea what the end result would be for this game, but that was not the ending I was expecting from this.
Fantastic game, I will be playing again.
Truly words are not enough, and not necessary - just take her hand.
This game is everything I've ever wanted and more - it just kept going when multiple times I was certain surely they can't say anything more
Wrings the heart, brain, psyche and even philosophically, existentially and spiritually dares to question and answer all your questions
This game does not relent, does not hold back
I feel richer for having played this, proud to be human or whatever we are
This is one of the best games I have played in a long time. Without spoiling too much I would say stick to a single save slot, and avoid starting over or picking a different route/branch until after the credits roll.
Slay the Princes is possibly my favorite visual novel. The writing is amazing, the art resonates with me, the voice acting is superb, and good god is the music better than it has any right to be. This is a game I would wholeheartedly reccomend.
Also I think the princess is really pretty (in most variations). :3
I'm not a big visual novel fan, which is what Slay the Princess is. I wasn't "super" into the art style initially. I'm SO glad I tried it anyway. The art style and music are very thematic, it works and is super immersive. The voice acting is SUPERB. The game mechanic/plot comes out of left field and is very compelling. You want to dig deeper, you want to explore how you can navigate the story. I binged it in a couple days, and I don't think there's a lot of room for replay, but I will say I feel a void now that I've more or less "completed" it. Hit me hard in my feelings, and I think that will stick with me for a good while.
tl;dr: Highly recommend, even to those that don't consider themselves visual novel enjoyers.
