FIGHT THE PAST TO SAVE THE FUTURE. STOP THE SINGULARITY.
Learn the truth behind a massive cover-up of the catastrophic SINGULARITY, an event that fractured time and threatens the world as we know it. Armed with powerful, advanced weaponry and the experimental Time Manipulation Device, fight enemies from the past, the present, and abominations caught somewhere in between.
TIME IS YOUR WEAPON
- Use the TMD – Time Manipulation Device – to change the age of objects and enemies and bend time to your will.
- Age enemies to dust in seconds, manipulate objects outside the laws of gravity, and degrade objects to a withered state or renew them to their pristine form.
- Unlock upgrades to harness the TMD’s full power and expand your full arsenal of advanced weaponry.
EPIC SCI-FI ACTION THRILLER
- Heart-pounding, first person combat action that immerses you in a world where the past and present collide.
- Travel seamlessly between two eras – 1950s Russia and modern day – each rendered with stunning lighting, physics, and effects using the Unreal 3 Engine.
UNRAVEL THE CONSPIRACY
- Traverse the blur between the past and future in order to stop the mysterious SINGULARITY that threatens the world.

Nice Sci-Fi shooter with good length! Great selection of weapons, including the Seeker with its controllable explosive bullet which is always a blast to use. And the Bio Shock/Dead Space style Kinect and stasis powers are fun to play around too. I also like the Titanfall 2 style campaign with its dual timeline, though it could get confusing and convulted at points. Also, turning enemies into skeletons and then dusts never gets old, or you can turn them into a mutant instead and watch them tear through their former comrades.
Raven Software know how to make a Shooter. They lived in the shadow if ID software but they know there stuff. Singularity is an excellent shooter and a fine example of Raven almost at there best. I say almost as there are a few frustrating sections in this otherwise wonderful game. These sections aren't helped with the game betraying it's console roots using checkpoint instead of quick saves.
The game still feels and looks fresh today. Weapons are sutiably meaty and enemies are varied. The over all feel of quality is helped by a tight and fun story that at times is reminicant of bioshock in feel. A time traveling adventure where you get to master a set of smart time bending skills. You use these to over come the enemy and solve puzzles.
At it's best when your fighting the soilders in the many set pieces. At the sale price a must have for any FPS fan.
Singularity is a FPS where you play an American lieutenant sent in to investigate a mysterious island where one of their satellites was downed flying over off the East coast off Russia. It turns out that there was a mysterious element discovered there which gives great energy, can be used in weapons and power sources, exposure to it can cause mutation and it can fuel a time manipulation device.
You have some pretty cool powers including aging and de-aging objects to gain access to places you might not be able to otherwise. Guns feature some standard ones as well as some interesting ones. Enemies both human and especially mutant are varied and interesting, there are modern elite soldiers with resistance to your abilities, mutants with some interesting abilities and a boss type monster earlier on.
The story is pretty good too. It is an interesting one where you want to find out more with taped recordings telling part of it and the narrative others. The characters are pretty interesting too. The ending gives you choice to take one of 4 options even if 1 is essentially nothing changes, the other 3 have dramatic effects.
It’s a short game but that’s a welcome relief from bloated do this minor quest, collect this rabbits ear open world games which think forcing you to sink time into things is a good replacement for a engrossing story, gameplay and narrative. Very much enjoyed.
So the concept for the story is great, but the game flow manages to get tedious while the mechanics get to be overwhelming in options of what you can do (and what every button does). After a while, it just couldn't hold my interest.
