One of my all-time favourites
I have played a lot of RPGs in the past, and even though Silver is already so old, it's is simply one of my all-time favourites. Yes, the graphic tells the age of this game, but don't let that stop you from playing it! The game features a brilliant BGM and voice-over, an interesting (yet at times clumsy) battle system, at least if you haven't read the manual to find out about the keyboard shortcuts which make your game experience so much more smooth actually. Overall, it's not a difficult game, but there are some bosses (or those goddamn treants) that can be tricky if you don't know how to get rid of them efficiently. The story itself is nothing overly creative, it's really just a standard tale with some standard side quests, but it just makes sense. It's authentic and believable. All major elements of a reasonably good storytelling are included. Last but not least, it has a high replay value. I've played it like four times now, and I'm pretty sure it won't have been my last playthrough.
