Silent Hill 4: The Room

What a janky mess. I just can't understand these reviews unless they're all fake. Not even worth it for the nostalgia. I found it impossible to play. The 3rd person perpective is atrocious. I'm constantly running into the camera with no idea what's in front of me. The controls are abysmal, both KBM and gamepad suck equally. There's absolutely no camera control. It just tries to follow behind the character with spectacular failure. When it manages to get behind the character, it jumps around erratically, many times in birds eye view showing the top of your head and the ground. Just as bad as running into the camera because you can't see what's in front of you. The map just confuses you more than you were. You have to micro manage your position to interact with anything, which is exacerbated by the crappy controls. I gave it an hour and I'm never going back. They should have optimized the controls and camera pov. First person perspective would have improved it immensely.

An awful game from start to finish. Awkward, unresponsive controls, bland visuals, terrible sound design (voice and effects are SNES era quality), and a non-existent story. I was a big fan of SH2 + 3 but this was a big letdown, wish I'd kept my £7 instead...

Game didnt won't even load into a menu without crashing.

We have made the Chinese language patch of the game, and it is based on the Japanese version. The current version of the game does not have Japanese language. We hope to add Japanese through the update. Thank you！
