My first game on GOG. Awesome!

I signed into GOG many years ago only to have this game. I've definitely not regret of what I've did. This is maybe the most flexible and customizable of all Civilization series games. Unit and government customization, 7 faction different from philosophy (Scientist, Capitalists, Militarist, Totalitarist and so on). Causes "only one turn more and I quit" dependency

Great strategic game

This is a really great strategic game with sci-fi background. There are many features not available in other "civ-like" game: Terraforming, alien life forms, sci-fi convention. Warning !! Another turn syndrome. Really addictive game.

A real classic, one of the best

Sid's Civilization and Alpha games are just plain addictive. You can set them for whatever level of difficulty you want and just keep coming back for more.

One of the best

This is one of the best games ever created. I love the post by a guy a few pages back where he complains that the AI is on him right from the start. Yes, it is and if it doesn't like you then you better figure out how to kill them or hold them off. :)
