The Drones look up to you

A deep city builder game that did it all way way before anyone else, with a well thought out scifi universe as you gain fictional science boosts, fight aliens, deal with a wide array of cultures for allies and enemies. A+ title

Still holds up!

I bought this in a box, what, 30 years ago? It was an outstanding, fun, challenging game and it remains so now. Turn-based strategy means you can enjoy playing but break anytime you need to. The world-building aspect is great and streamlined. This is not for someone who wants hex-by-hex control over how and where roads are built. Instead you concentrate on competing goals.
