Alpha Centauri

An outstanding game. Recommend you run the PRACX executable, see the new menu item to adjust resolution (requires game restart). Some UI frictions basic graphics and so on 25 years on, but in many ways superior to the current civ titles under the hood. It is one of the best games ever made and runs very well, thanks GOG.

One of the greatest turn based ever

This is truly one of the most underated games ever made. It is also the most replayed game I have ever had. It is super addictive. It has interesting tech tree's and the best political mechanics I've experienced in a game.

Broken Since Windows Update

I've been playing this game (SMAX) for 26 years, but the latest Windows 11 update seems to have broken it. When I load a save, or start a new game, it seems to be locked into multi-player and crashes immediately. The game itself gets the 5 star rating, and hopefully GOG will fix this issue.
