I enjoyed Shortest trip to Earth a lot so far. Yep, Battle Tiger helps a lot on the first run =) That was a good decision. I think this game has a huge potential. It would be awesome to come back and play it every couple of months, after updates. I never liked rogue-like games before, but this one change my mind. I wish all the best to developers and success to their project. Don't listen to some folks who doesn't have their own opinion who are just repeating one another: "clone..clone..clone" Who cares?
who cares? if you like this kind of games just try it out, give it a chance and hopefully write something new in your review.
Got to sector 4 already., not sure how far will I get on this first run.
Thanks a lot. I felt such great emotions already, so enough talking , would rather play.
good job
The game shares a lot with FTL, but differs mainly in how one moves the ship around. In addition, the game gives perhaps more options in choosing which encounters to take. The game's main drawback is the challenge which sometimes takes the "roguelike" aspects too far, and unless you min-max everything just right, the game can suddenly snap its fingers and decide it's time for you to die. It happens. Live with it and try again.
The graphics are enjoyable. The music is not particularly my liking, although it doesn't sound out of place either.
The game could benefit from some quality of life improvements ("module presets" for one, saving and loading module configurations just like crew positions), but otherwise offers a very enjoyable ride in exploring the unknown. The game's dark sense of humor is amazing.
Play this if you want a more free-form FTL with sometimes unfair difficulty.
