I will say everything very simply! The game is just gorgeous! It's a pity of course that without additional materials. I was so hoping that there will be soundtracks from the game in the FLAC or in a different format. Even as a paid DLC.

very good
The game looks and feels like the previous games. The controls are very good. The design of the environments is very nice. it doesn't feel to hard, but you also don't feel like the bosses fall over from a light breeze. Overall the game is a very fun game and I believe, if you have enjoyed the previous games, you will enjoy this one as well. But the game is unfortunately not without flaws, in previous games the world is in general more like a metroidvania style, here we have distinct levels that you can only reach from a level select screen. If you have reached a checkpoint in a level, you can't return to the previous section directly either. Personally I prefered the metroidvania style and I felt the backtracking to look for items once you unlocked new moves was more fun. The lack of a map that shows you areas where you already have been is annoying as well, but not that much since the levels are so linear. The relic system that is mentioned in the description is a joke. It's the same procedural upgrades you had in previous games, but you can, if you want, turn on a weaker version, if the game is to easy for you. Regarding the modes, besides the main game, so far I have only played the main game and I'm currently in the last few sections of the mode where you play Shantaes friends. In the alternative mode are the levels in general very similar to the main game, with some small changes to accomodate the abilities from the other characters.

Pretty good game, but...
The game is in spanish, i think that it's because of my region, but the game has a bad translation to spanish, easily one of the worst translations that i've ever seen on my life, if you are from a hispanic country, i invite you to reconsider buying this product, because of the bad translation that ruins part of the experience and, by the moment, i haven't found a way to change the text language.

Great but sadly too short...
We get only 5 locations, most bosses are easy and our mc really fast get upgrades. About 10 hours of play, xbox pad is must for this title, sadly alternate story is boring and trivial (we fight the same bosses us Shantae, and kill our own men...). So i suggest buy this game on some salle, not worth full price..

Way too much backtracking
The game feels padded to an extreme level. There are six stages which I found fine, but the backtracking bits... Unlike a metroidvania you don't have a map telling you where you have not explored - you have to rely on the hints in town to tell you where the things you need to advance are, making for a tedious treasure hunt. I got to the final stage and was not able to find bat form without consulting a guide and almost moved on there. It's an okay game but definitely not one I can recommend.
