Severed Steel

welp this wont be my usual yammerings on positive and negative i unabashedly love this game and its not so sutle homages to superhot, syndicate (the FPS had exactly ONE good moment and its in severed steel so play steel not ea games), quake, cruelty squad, and such. I can not judge it objectively because i adore it far too much. Yes yes it uses wallrunning and i hate that but the gunplay is rock solid leading to gamelay being excilirating, all self feeding loop of awesome. there are even limited brekable walls and floors ffs!! who needs to have a way when you can MAKE one! soudtrack is not on par with AAA games but thats fair, noone can do it all and again the main part of the game is absolute perfection to MY eyes so i will not sweat over passable but unremarkable music. you probably should read some negative reviews this game is not perfect nothing is but i can recommand it for i thorrowly enjoy it.

If you're looking for a lot of high velocity shooter fun, go with Severed Steel.

The sales price being 90% off makes this game a no brainer to buy. Its really fun for a few hours of a campaign and replayability if you want to try some more fancy tricks you've learned

I only played a couple of levels, but this makes movement in games like Titanfall 2 look like a joke (although i love that game).

TLDR: buy this game if you want a fast-paced cool shooter with emphasis on movement, cool weapons, nice enemy variety, good enemy AI (not ground breaking but not dumb), great soundtrack and great replay value. ----- I have very little time, thankfully Severed Steel respects that and get you right into the action! Over the top, high tempo, shooter with cool mechanics like slow-motion, sliding, dodghing, double jumping, wall running - i mean, what else could you ask for?! The story is not important, nor is it interesting, but that's not why you'll buy and play this game. You're paying for bang for your buck - and oh boy does it deliver! the replay value on this is off the charts! I have played this extensively, and still do to this day. Bought the GOG version because I had to support the devs and also to get a DRM free version of this game for my self.
