Description
Seven: The Days Long Gone is an open-world, isometric role-playing game, in which you play as Teriel, a master thief sent on a mission that will shake the foundations of the Vetrall Empire. Free roam across the vibrant prison island of Peh, and choose whether to help or exploit its many citizens.

If there’s one place that Master Thief Teriel avoids at all costs, it’s the prison island of Peh. But when a daring heist takes an unexpected turn, Teriel finds himself shackled on an airship bound for the infamous island. To make matters worse, the daemon inside his head makes it very clear that the thief will never leave unless he does exactly what he’s told.

In Seven: The Days Long Gone you play as Teriel. You must use all of your cunning and clandestine skills to escape a web of deceit and betrayal, and ultimately survive Peh.

EXPLORE A VIBRANT OPEN WORLD FROM AN ISOMETRIC PERSPECTIVE

From the moment you set foot on Peh, the island is open to you. Sneak, run, climb, and fight your way across a colourful array of environments. You are free to explore wherever you please; only security checkpoints, monster-infested areas, and dangerous factions stand in your way!

CHOOSE YOUR PLAYSTYLE

As a master thief, Teriel is well versed in the art of stealth. Get the jump on enemies from behind and above, fool everyone with cunning disguises, or just use the environment to keep out of sight entirely. If things go wrong, however, or you’re feeling impatient, there’s nothing to stop you from letting loose with an array of devastating weapons, and unleashing deadly magical skills upon your foes.

ENCOUNTER A MYRIAD OF COLOURFUL CHARACTERS

Encounter an array of people, from despondent slaves and prisoners through to rich socialites. Just be sure to keep an eye out for the two major factions on Peh: the Biomancers and the Technomagi. In such a desperate place, there are many who will take any help they can get. Choose whether to help or exploit Peh’s inhabitants, but be prepared for the consequences.

UNCOVER AN EPIC STORY OF DECEIT AND TREACHERY

On Peh, everyone has an agenda, and often there’s more than meets the eye. Dive into a world teeming with distrust, and crushed between the machinations of mighty powers. Work with the daemon that has possessed you to complete a mission of utmost importance. The fate of the Vetrall Empire rests in your hands.

Isometric mix of "Thief" & "Dishonored"

Ok so this game is an odd one. Its like an isometric stealth ARPG in a cyberpunk setting and with apparent influence from Assassins Creed and good old Thief trilogy eventhough not on the same level of stealth depth as Thief trilogy was. This game is more focused on action than stealth in comparison to Thief and Dishonored. It has semi open world but it feels like there is not that much to do. There is some lack of direction from what I experienced and I kinda felt lost. Now, I don't mind a game that doesn't hold my hand..No, I actually like such sort of game but in this one, I just felt some lack of direction on certain parts and something I can't quite figure out felt rather boring. Like there is something missing that makes the game still feel alittle lacking. May be some more polish. Some more gameplay definition. The protagonist is kinda interesting. Game story starts strong with some dark themes like public executions and such but as I dwell further in game, story started to feel less and less interesting to me. It just gets less engaging I guess. In general, its a great game and there is definitely fun to be had. Its on my good stealth games list but it doesn't compare to Thief, Dishonored nor Hitman, imo. I can say it feels like abit janky Assassins Creed game with more focus on stealth. If you don't mind janky games or isometric view and love stealth games then I recommend you give it a try. 4/5 because, imo, its good but not masterpiece. 5 goes for masterpiece. :)

Outstanding, hope to see more!

Seven is one of my favourite games of the past few years and I often find myself thinking about it fondly. It's a very ambitious open-world stealthy immersive sim, taking place in a sprawling, unique and hostile world. Because of this ambition, there are a few unpolished aspects, most notably the camera, but it easily rises above these issues and almost all other games in the genre. Very highly recommended, and I hope to see a follow-up by the developers!

Only get if your a hard core stealth fan

Its a good game with some flaws. First I've ran into some bugs where enemies teleported to the roof even thoguh they are suppose to be one floor down. Also the final boss is WAY to hard with extremly unpredictable disapearing floors. With one or two bugs that do get annoying while playing. They are not often but noticable. Story is just enough to keep you going, nothing mind blowing. With a world well realized and lore that is just enough to make you feel immersed. Character wise you only care about the main two. With supporting characters barely given any time to develop a personality. Gameplay is where the game shines. The level design, stealth and combat mechanics, progression, crafing are well implemented. With the tutorials being easy reads you pause to read which I do appretiate. As it gets annoying to be interupted all the time for lenghty explanations on how to play the game. It all fits well with nothing feeling overbearing or bloated. The best example is crafting. Its easy to get the components needed while respecting the intelligence of the playing to experiment and figure out how to apporach objectives. If you can forgive some of the bugs and servicable story there is a fun game here.

Rich world with many details

I played the game for 10 hours now and so far it has been a lot of fun. The story is easy to follow and engaging. The characters are interesting. There are many areas to explore and the map seems huge. I didn't expect the game to be that big. You can get lost with the camera but if you use sense mode all the time everything becomes more clear.

Beware performance issues

Ok, so, first of all, like the more positive reviews say, there seems to be quite a good game in here somewhere. However, for me (and many others from what I can glean from searching around on various forums) performance issues make the game totally unplayable. Framerate stutters like crazy even on the lowest graphic settings and nothing I tried made the slightest difference.
