Serious Sam: The First Encounter

Poor me. I considered myself quite the shooting fan, having made my way through Duke Nukem 3D, Blood and Blood 2 but little did I know that Serious Sam would annoy me. Too much is sometimes just too much and here, I had a headache after twenty minutes of playing. It's coming from everywhere and there is nothing else here but just shoot at enemis in big wide arenas that shows very little skills in level design. But the graphics are ok, even today and if you're looking for some mindless fun, that should do the trick. If you are looking for something a little bit beyond plain shooting, don't stop here.

i got this game for free in a giveaway and it's really fun! the singleplayer was good and also funny like the reference to indiana jones or the dialogs or the enemies (like the headless sucider bombers) the thing that i don't liked it's the fact that there is no way to play multiplayer because gamespy servers are dead

Doesn't get much better when it comes to action packed FPSs.

Fast-pace frentic action in wide-open locations with colourful and distinctive enemies. No plot to speak of, and none needed. Still a classic of the FPS genre.
