Please avoid spoiling yourself the game on youtube. played 4hr today (waited 6 years) Graphics 4,5/5 most unique graphic design that I saw in last decade. 3080 10gb 1440p above 100fps It would be 5/5 i you could change FOV for ultra widescreens - for normal 1440p 5/5 Every interaction is nicely and artfully animated, Its very meaty graphic:) Gameplay for me it is 5/5. Normaly I dont like slow paced games, But this one took my attention. First there are NO hints in the game, you have to check the world on you own, probe everything and together with very unique interesting world, clever puzzles (played 4hrs) made sucked to Monitor for whole session. First hour can be tough, but its rewarding (with animations) Sound 6/5 Thats the thing that surprised me the most, that the first game that have seriously polished 7.1 sound. People with high quality headphones 7.1 (true or virtual) are going to be amazed. (like asus Theta 7.1). This is of the games that you can check your new soundcard or Headphones. Conclusion. This game is designed for people that can appriciate art style, and sound of movies like Alien or the Thing. Ones that like this atmosfere and tension.

First off the aesthetics, gorgeous and absolutely right down my alley as they say. However I must concurr with the previous statements regarding the combat. Enemies are overpowered and they do not miss even by accident. I'm one of those soulsborne masochists so I'm used to hard gaming but this is just unbalanced. It would greatly benefit from a bit of tweaking, either make enemies slightly less OP and with the ability to miss or simply just lower the difficulty. Since this game isn't combat heavy at all a lower difficulty wouldn't change much regarding the overall experience imo.

I played the PC Game Pass version of the game and wanted to leave my review. As someone who is a fan of the late H.R. Giger, I thought the game artists did a fantastic job of recreating his world/vision. I'm sure he would have been pleased with what he would have seen if he was still alive. The game itself is very short which you can easily complete it within 4 to 5 hours. Before you get a gun have have to use a jackhammer like weapon, the combat is not a great experience especially when you have 2 enemies that use range attacks which makes dodging impossible due to the very narrow corridors. Until you get the guns, as cool as they look, you will find yourself that you won't really need to use them. The checkpoint system is very annoying. I encountered a bug where I got bugged out of a lift and fell through the map. Reloading the save took me back to the glitch checked point. I had to load an older save and went back about 40 minutes worth of gameplay. A big shame that the developers didn't give us a manual save option. Great world design, fantastic audio design and a very subjective story (There's no in-game lore and all down to personal interpterion. If you're looking for a "horror" shooter, this game isn't for you. If you're looking for a "horror" puzzler then I'd give it a shot if you either have game pass or pick it up when it's on sale for a good discount.

(Played the game via GamePass) No matter what other reviewers may say, this is not a myst-like. It's a shooter that makes you think it's a myst like for the first 2-3 hours. Unfortunately the shooting part is done so poorly that it destroys the whole atmosphere and fun with that game for me. If you like Giger-like settings and can stand that there is basically no story or any kind of explanation this may be a game for you.

This game is a masterpiece. Incredible aesthetics and quite out of the ordinary. I know it may not please everyone, but we can't deny that the games industry needs different proposals to get out of the common place and eternal remakes."Scorn", together with "Stray" are two masterpieces that brought me back for the world of today's games. In my opinion, without a doubt, "Scorn" and "Stray" are the games of the year and perhaps the best of this generation...
