Remaster is censored

An insult to S&M and to comedy itself.
Skunkape are liars, they said they would not change the game's actual content, but this release is full of sanitized, neutered humor in an attempt to be politically correct and in the process completely missed the point of both Sam & Max and comedy as a concept. Furthermore, the developer has replaced the voice actor for the beloved character Bosco, completely ignoring the entire point of the profession of acting in favor of soft bigotry because the actor was not the the "correct" race. I will not support censored comedy or art, and I don't recommend you do either.

How is the game....well it's Sam & Max, it's a solid point & click and been that for many years. But since it was one of the early Telltale games it was a bit janky and the graphics nowadays are a bit dated which this remaster does fix. Now, why only 2 stars for a game I'd normally give at least 4 ? Well, as many others have written here, it IS CENSORED !! Why 2 stars instead of 1....well, it is technically fine and works, so have 2 points for that. A game that is supposed to be a bit offensive and politically incorrect is....well, not anymore. Considering how tame the original jokes were it is laughable to remove them and just shows how crazy these groups have become. I have been contemplating for a couple hours now if I'm gonna refund, I am not sure, on one hand i'd love to play through the game again (remaster came right when I actually was thinking about a replay) on the other I normally refuse to support nonsense like this. Not sure yet, might very well be my first refund on GOG. If you don't care about the real Sam & Max and just want to play a point&click and you want to support censoring of media to suit left politics, go for it. else stay away I'd say. If you want to push politics, make a new game that can then flop as all media that went this route has flopped (wonder why) and don't mutilate old classics.

Censorship is stupid
People love Sam&Max games because they're so outrageously political incorrect. That's why they're so funny. To make them political correct, as described by the link in a comment below, is to remove their very soul.

Sam & Max Lose the Humor
Censorship of jokes in a comedy game, apparently forgetting that Sam & Max was always synonymous with weird out of left field and dark humor. It feels like the new developers thought they bought a cartoon on DisneyXD and were surprised with how strange and messed up the series actually was since the beginning. I'd give it 0 if I could as they also lied about this, promising the game would be uncut.
