This open-world action thriller takes you through the seedy streets of Paris as you seek to undermine the German authority and lead a rebellion. Fight across rooftops and through dangerous alleys, and operate a wide variety of vehicles as you navigate your terrain. You can even climb the Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame Cathedral for a sniping mission.
Use stealth and disguise to strike at the heart of the Nazi war machine by disabling trains, destroying bridges, and blowing up enemy facilities. As you work to remove the oppressive forces from parts of the city, the drab black-and-white palette gives way to bright colors, signifying that you’ve inspired the townspeople. The more you incite the people, the more they’ll aid you by intervening in fights or providing a quick getaway from pursuing Germans. The Saboteur presents a fresh take on World War II and features dramatic cinematic elements. The action and intrigue is yours to experience via download on the PC now.

I played this game many years ago and I still remember it as one of the best game ever played. Despite the mechanics and the gameplay were not innovative even at that time (i.e. GTA style), I loved the atmosphere the developers created and enojoy entering spy missions or demolish towers. Give it a try, hardly you will not be disappointed.
I finished the game back then. I really loved the setting, the design, the possibilities and the sheer length. Even having the boxed version i didnt hesitate to instantly buy it again at GOG. Still one of the best games of the Genre!
+ Visuals
+ Level Design is really original
+ Color Pallette change when you liberate an area
+ Story is like something out of a trashy WW2 flick
- Shooting feels and sounds really weak
- Driving feels and sounds pretty bad
- Climbing and movement with your character in general feels pretty weird
- Cliche Main Character that I couldn´t synpathize with
Overall pretty meh.
This game is amazing and I cannot believe how underrated this game is. It has so many things to it. I was blown away by the fact that you can climb buildings freely in occupied Paris. The only game I know that can do that is Assassin's Creed. The game has a unique visual style. When you enter an occupied area the game will be in black an white(apart from street lights and (izan) flags. The stealth is interesting with parts from Hitman's disguise system. The combat can sometimes be a little frustrating, movement can be weird, cutscenes sometimes brake, the stealth system sometimes just didn't work, but these problems are not the developer's fault (Pandemic Studios), but the publisher's fault. Electronic Arts. They were rushed to make the game, so there were some problems. The most annoying that I encountered was the letters. Opening a letter will have two consequences; A) The game shows you the letter normally and you can continue playing. B) The game shows you the letter and then crashes. Result B happened to me more and even it is a small problem, it can still be annoying. I don't want to go over any story elements. The story isn't that deep. It's your cliché revenge story. I would really like a remaster or something, because this game can be not just great, but an amazing game. I know that there are a lot of problems with games like these, when trying to do something on it, but I hope that someone manages to fix this game. Also, sorry for my broken English
Okay, this is an absolutely amazing game. I've played in on the console years ago and loved it. I was eager to get this thing going on my PC but . . . it absolutely does not work. And no, my system is up to spec: in fact, thats the problem. Nowhere on GOG does it warn people that if your system is reasonably powerful and new, the game will absolutely not work: so fair warning for everyone out there. Of course, GOG refunded my money because a) its their fault and b) that's just the kind of fair-minded people that they are. They've assured me a patch is in the works, but until then, stay away! or dust off one of your older PC's and have fun!
