RoboCop: Rogue City

I have no nostalgia to robocop and the game is just not good.

I wanted to like this game, as with all things 'Robocop' (especially the original movies); but after getting used to the janky controls through the 1st or 2nd mission, it then threw a 'target practice' segment at me, at which point I rage-quit, as I do not like this kind of tutorial (especially after a game's in progress) or turret shooters, but fps action in this kind of a game. There might be Others not with this concern; have FUN. But I did not by then. I give two stars for the thought and effort, not the results... I also do not expect any recent updates to address any of the problems, so I will keep the version I purchased a couple of months ago, before the recent tie-in was released. I also expect from the forums about this, that these updates require newer hardware and drivers I'm also not going to be upgrading for this game, that was otherwise up to specs and running as well as it could at the time: not so well as hoped, where controller-input is concerned; Others may again not have this problem, but it cut the game short for my review here. I also have not tried it on my newer i7 machine; but I prefer great movies as MOVIES anyway! Lol.

the game crashes often. Obvious programming issues.

the game seems running fine but later on there will be random rashes, hangs, and blackscreen. AMD FRAME GEN is amazing on this game yet it seems like it is the one causing the crashes on the game. Half way thru the game I refunded it and uninstalled immediately, cause there is no way of keeping games like this not running fine on a capable pc.

Its a very standard, uninspired FPS that is only interesting because it's RoboCop. It is slow, engagement with the environment is super limited, enemies are idiots that stand in the open...and the aiming is weird and off. If you're used to any sort of fast paced FPS games, this ain't for you. Looks decent enough, but I wish I had skipped it.
