Return of the Obra Dinn

I tried this game a few times and couldn't figure much out. I started over recently and paid attention to the instructions and kept making progress. Navigating through events takes some getting used to, but I eventually got it. Now I wish there was a sequel or something.

Great game, only marking it down because no replay value, goddamn do I wish I could play it for the first time again.

It's puzzling at the beginning as the game instructs you, but if you pay attention to the events, you would quickly get into a steady momentum of progress.

Game of the Decade.

An extremely simple, almost boring premise on paper, but it sucked me in like few games had in recent years. A very satisfying and well executed mix of storytelling and deduction! For anyone wondering, you can go into this game with zero prior knowledge of how sailing and ship crews used to work, but some general knowledge could be useful (recognising some foreign languages, for example)
