Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs

Awesome game made by an amazing team. Seriously if your a fan of T-RPG, you should try this gem. Juste a little problem : Too many loading screen, It's a little annoying, But I enjoy this game !

The title says it all... seriously, whoever thought it is a good idea to bombard player with "press mouse 1 button to continue" after EVERY loading screen (there are millions of those in this game), should be fired immediately.

This game has a very slow feel to it. The plot is slow, the combat is slow (although you can super speed it by pressing F4), and it does not feel very engaging. The strategy combat is tainted by a terrible reliance on RNG, making smart tactical decisions not pay off as they should. Overall, 2 out of 5 stars for me, not that good of a game.

As others have said, the gameplay here is a mix of Disgaea and Persona. The tactical combat is challenging and fun. It has a bit less production value because it's an indie, but personally, I think that adds a lot of charm. However, I had to dock one star because of the super racist antisemetic caricature of the shopkeeper, as well as other gnomes. Fortunately he's not that useful, so you can go most of the game without speaking to him, but if that still puts you off the game, I totally understand.

When you use loading screen confirm before battle and event, understandable. When you use loading screen confirm to enter and exit the shop, it becomes annoying.
