Quest for Glory 1-5

Easily one of my favorite series of games, and something I have desperately wanted to see on gog.com for some time now. What really makes this game stand out is that your character evolves like an RPG, choosing which attributes to improve, while you play through a long and epic adventure. Couple this with the ability to import your character from game to game, and you really get to see the hero evolve from game to game. I have to really thank gog.com for getting this added to their collection, especially since my disks have long since become corrupt (that and I'm having trouble finding 5 1/4" floppy drives). :)

The Quest for Glory series made a huge impact on me growing up. Not only did they teach me english, but the sense of adventure and spirit in it got me hooked on video games and I've vehemently supported all efforts to get the series continued. With this release I hope it brings people closer to this underrated series of games and give them some thought on what a true ADVENTURE game should be like!

I am SO HAPPY to see the QFG series on GOG, especially since I'm one of the nuts that requested it. I don't think it's just my nostalgia that makes the series so awesome, but I do have a special, this-was-the-first-RPG-I-ever-played affection for it. Get it, play it, love the 8-bit.

Quest for Glory 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. I played it back in the day when it was first released. I was maybe 13 at the time. Bought it from Egghead software. I played all of the classic Sierra quest titles and have never fallen out of love with the Adventure Game genre. Too bad nothing like this is authored anymore. Great games. Buy them. You won't regret it.

Of all the adventure games Sierra turned out, these and Leisure Suit Larry were the best series. The most fun, the most laughs, the best puzzles and challenges. Getting this is like owning a Rembrandt original, but a playable one. Thank you for releasing this.
