A Management Game - NOT A FIGHTER
(I own the Steam Version) Personally I love this game, because I like management games. You Role-play as a boxer whose father was killed in front of you as a child. You then venture forth to get as strong as possible and avenge your loss. Now how does the game play? Well you have a map and you're on a "clock". Moving around the map takes either TIME or MONEY. MONEY is used to buy food to keep you full enough to keep working out, as well as buying gym access and gym equipment later in the game. TIME is what you consume by working out, traveling by foot, sleeping, or watching TV. However at the end of each day, you lose a portion of your stats. So you need to balance working out, working for money, resting, and above all FIGHTING. (Fighting gets skill points, skill-points give new attacks.) However don't expect much control in combat. You select which moves you'll be using in combat, then your character auto-fights for that round, then you reassign (or keep) moves. That's it. However you will have to pick a focus, no one can easily stay fit in Strength, Agility, and Stamina. So you'll probably end up focusing one and putting some in a second. To Summarize each of the three main stats. Strength - You hit hard, and often, but have no defense. Agility - You have very complex moves that debuff your opposition and you dodge more than you block, hopefully you dodge more than you get hit by too; also you counter attack every dodge. Stamina - You have an insane amount of health, block everything, are a virtual tank on legs, and once the enemy is tired and your stamina is full you can take them out with. *ah-ahem* WAN PAWWWWWWWWWWWWNCH! Buy if you like management games, look up gameplay on Youtube if you're still unsure.
