Tears of joy! Fun game design is not dead after all! This game controls very well and the level designs are some of the most imaginative I've seen in ages. The story is gripping and sort of dark yet humorous at the same time. A game hasn't made me feel this pure childhood joy since I played Mario Galaxy for the first time in around 2010. Worth the full asking price, you won't regret it, especially if you enjoyed the original Psychonauts.

I love this game so much. The music, the environments, the characters, the humor, everything is perfect. My only complaint is that now I have to wait for the next one!

I loved this game from start to finish. On average, the game took my around 18-ish hours to complete the story. While that is something to take into consideration, I would not say that the amount of time invested in the game is either too little or too much for the money spent, especially if you catch it on sale. Every single minute was packed with some of the best and most creative world design, story telling, acting, animation, and gameplay I've seen in quite a while. I enjoyed it so much to the point that I was left wanting more in the end, but in a way that say's a lot about how good this game really is. Unlike many other games I've played these days, this one does not over stay it's welcome. This sequal absolutely destroys the original in every aspect. This is the kind of game that is well suited for all types of gamers and I would highly recommend it. Even if you didn't find your self too much into the original.

I backed this game, waited the many long years for it to come out and I'm glad I did. It is every bit as enjoyable as the first one. You can tell they poured a lot of care and thought into this game. The story picks up where the middle VR game left off. While it's nice to have the history to fully enjoy the story, you can get by without it or by just reading a summarization. The controls feel more fluid and polished. The world has the same warm feel as the first one with great characters, environmental story telling and lots of humor. If you liked the first one, you will like this one. I love it.
