Primordia

Primordia has everything a fan of classic adventure games could want. Interesting puzzles, memorable characters, and an intelligent, well written story. The main writer of the game said he was inspired by Fallout and Planescape: Torment, and it shows. The crumbling world and factions trying to hold it together are quite Fallout-esque. While the journey of self-discovery (and self-ressurection [of a kind]) are straight of of Torment's playbook. In fact the entire finale plays out like a love letter to the Fortress of Regrets. With those inspirations also comes a much darker experience than most adventure games are used to. While there are still jokes and moments of levity, the game is not a comedy like seemingly 90% of classic adventure games are. Altogether a profound experience, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This game has a storyline that is interesting, beautiful art, and witty dialog. If you've ever liked point and click adventure this is a must have.

This game is everything you love about good old point-and-click adventures. It has a brilliant story, lovely graphics, totally atmospheric soundtrack, lots of references to modern world and some geek humor, of course :) Frankly speaking, I was bought by the trailer, because it is really awesome. And so is the game, trust me.

Not much to criticize here - almost perfect adventure game, IMO. The story, setting, characters, dialogues seems to be very polished and rich with the details, which is a very rare trait for a modern game. Voice acting is marvelous. Puzzles and other adventure content is also quite good, though it contains some slightly annoying pixel hunting somewhere, but it's manageable.

I play adventures since the release of Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (still the best Adventure) and Primordia is one of the best I have ever played. Well written story with some very good small gags, good riddles, likeable characters, really nice retro graphics and great voice actors. Like Mark from the classic game room often says: Highly recommended! :-)
