Story

In Prey, you awaken aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032. You are the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever – but things have gone terribly wrong. Best 3D Metroidvania since Metroid Prime

Well it's not a TRUE Metroidvania, but 3D vanias are in short supply and this does the trick. The story feels engaging from the start, you're encouraged to explore, I'm into it.

Underrated masterpiece

People expect an action game, but this is more of a survival stealth puzzle game. I finished the game as a stealthy hacker-engineer, and I enjoyed it very much. The only downside for me was the non-explanatory ending.
