POD Gold

Glad to have this game back after all these years. My favorite game ever. Works with Windows 10 on my Dell core i7 with a SSD drive. Really happy to see that my Logitech Driving Force steering wheel and pedals works in POD. Super easy to set up. Locks up the pc when exiting, but that's ok with me. Finally a use for my home computer other than for work. Thank you GOG.

I should note immediately, that I did not play this with a controller. There is a 5-Star review on here calling the game "bare-bones." That is because it is. I have not gotten far in P.O.D. If you read the description, this is a game that was designed to use the latest technology of 1997. It is not anything else. The story is designed to explain empty environments on the Planet of Death. I had a hard time understanding which direction to go on the tracks. The title has the gray-brown color pallet, which, obviously shouldn't be considered a big problem. Instead, the core problem is that it stands as the definition of "mediocre." If you are looking to play a 3d racing game, I suggest that you continue browsing GOG. Basically, what I am trying to convey to readers, is that POD Gold is not a must have.

This game is simple and fun, thats all. Played over my childhood and years later i wanted to play it one more time and bought on GOG. Even this game is old, it runs on modern PCs, so anyone can play.

Not a typical racing game. This one provides the most complex and confusing tracks I've ever seen in any arcade racer - navigating through maze like streets of Megapol can be really challenging, but I found it really fun and it has some unique vibe. If you are a fan of trackmania and like perfecting you runs, this is the game for you.
