What's Enhanced about it?
Very underimpressed. PS:T is without a doubt the hardest hitting and most impressive CRPG I have ever played, and almost 20 years later, that has not changed. The only issue I had before EE was the necessity of installing several mods in perfect order, mostly because if I messed one thing up, I had to start all over. This solved that issue, but has none of the restored content, extended dialogue, easter eggs, and cutesy exploitable glitches that made games like this replayable. Perhaps some genius modders will bring all of that back for us over time, but until then, the only benefit to paying $20 for this "enhanced edition" is the time you save on installation, and a couple of beneficial UI features. (The zoom feature is almost worthless for me; I know every map back to front).

Same good old game
If this is your first time playing, go ahead, you'll like it. Lot's of dialogue and side quests, mysterious story with many different paths along the way. But for someone who knows the original, I am disappointed. I was hoping BeamDog would fix the many inconsistencies in dialogue and quests, and recover some cut-out content. But no, the inconsistencies are still there and there is nothing new.

Thank you Chris Avellone!
Well looks like Chris Avellone brought a much needed touch of class to Beamdog, because Planescape Torment Enhanced Edition was exactly what I was looking for. Never got the chance to say when it first came out what an amazing experience PST was so 16 years later, here it is again just in time for the Easter Holiday. It is the original game, with basically no new content, minor technical improvements in many areas and it now works well across all my machines. Story and characters are fantastic. Fall-of-Grace I still love you after all of these years!

Not entirely sure if worth current price
Quality update of the original PST, with technical improvements and no new content. The no new content was actually a huge positive and respects the original material. So 5/5 Not entirely sure if it is worth the full price though if you have the original game from GoG. I had no issues modding my own game to improve it, but not everyone is in that position, and mods do not always work as intended. If you can pick it up on sale though, definitely worth adding to your gaming library. Its the sort of the game you need to play for a couple of days though for the story and characters to start clicking with you.
