Brace yourself for new adventures set in your favorite universe thanks to the The Last Sarkorians DLC!

You can also get Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Season Pass here.

Discover the Story

Your path will lead you to the Worldwound, where the opening of a rift to the Abyss has unleashed all-consuming terror across the land. For over a century, the neighboring nations have fought fearlessly, trying to drive the enemy back — but to little avail.

Now, you have the chance to put an end to this conflict, but the path to salvation is far from clear-cut. Will you become a shining angel, backed by noble paladins? Or a powerful necromancer with hordes of immortal undead in your thrall? Or something else entirely? Lead your army and challenge mighty demon lords. Your crusade will set in motion a chain of events that will leave you — and the world itself — forever changed.

PLAY YOUR HERO, YOUR WAY

Create any character imaginable with the flexibility, richness, and depth of the Pathfinder First Edition ruleset. Choose from 25 classes, 12 character races, and more than a thousand spells, feats, and abilities to suit your personal playstyle.

FOR EVERY CHOICE, A CONSEQUENCE

Your decisions have more weight than ever before. Your goal is clear, but you must forge your own path to it. Who will die, and who will live? Who will stay, and who will go? Make your choices, and watch the world around you change.

A NEW WAY TO FIGHT

Enjoy two combat modes as you slay your enemies – real-time with pause or turn-based. Switch between them on the fly, so you can always take things as slowly — or as quickly — as you like. The unique Pathfinder ruleset also allows you to perform advanced combat maneuvers, like mounted combat. Use them wisely!

GATHER YOUR PARTY

A cast of more than 10 unique companions is ready to join your cause. Earn their trust and respect, and they will have your back no matter what dangers lie ahead. And if you get on their bad side, well… Maybe it’s time to part ways.

LEAD THE CRUSADE

You will need much more than a party of adventurers to cleanse the land of its demonic scourge. Take command of the crusaders and lead them to victory – both as a strategist, controlling the battle from above, and as a field commander, in a new tactical combat mode.

CHOOSE YOUR PATH

Explore nine unique Mythic Paths: obtain extraordinary abilities and shape everything that comes next. Your decisions might transform you into a celestial Angel, a raging Demon, a powerful Lich, a cunning Trickster, an otherworldly Aeon, a rebellious Azata, a wise Gold Dragon, an insatiable Swarm That Walks — or remain mortal and walk the arduous path toward becoming a living Legend.

Bored

The first act was fun, but then you get sent into this "commander" scenario where you have to recruit armies and fight your way to a town. The recruiting takes forever and you have to keep spending and spending to raise enough troops to beat the demons. None of that is anything like the role playing and party building from act 1. The whole party you've put together has nothing to do with any of the commander/army building. It's not what I bought the game for and frankly, it's boring as hell. What a disappointment.

There's No Spyware

DISCLAIMER: Not every review, even popular takes, are accurate nor actually understand the object of their review. (Remember, stupidity follows ignorance). Despite the avid and passionate approach of some reviewers, the game does NOT contain any spyware. This has come about from an ignorant and fear-based attempt to understand the EULA. What they're confusing for spyware is actually nothing more than the game reporting for telemetry (technical information required to maintain a game and keep it up to date). Unfortunately, the most popular review on this site, masquerading as an authority on the subject, fails to even understand what is contained in the EULA, yet claims to explain it in a way for the masses to understand. Instead, they are only sharing their own extremely subjective flavor of fear-mongering and misinformation. What the EULA actually explains is that the game will report back to the developers with the specs and hardware of the machine you are using, which is necessary in order to keep the game updated and playing nice with all the different software, hardware, and associated drivers, for example. If you want a game to actually run on your machine, then you want this. Please, from an opinion on your own, supported only by reviews based on truth. I'll say it again: Stupidity follows Ignorance. And, the top review is FULL of ignorance.

Amazing RPG, wonky difficulty

This game is so well made, with interesting story, setting, characters, mechanics, everything is absolutely top notch stuff and I enjoyed (almost) every hour I spent in this game. I would love to give this game a 5 Star rating, but I just cant. I know that I am not the best RPG player around, but man..Some of the dungeons and encounters here are straight up unfair and stupidly difficult. That is my biggest issue here. THANKFULLY HOWEVER, seems that the developers are aware of this (somewhat) and literally all aspects of the difficulty can be changed, so you can make your playthrough even stupidly easy if you wish to.

Good but needs something early on

Right out of the gates, you're thrown into an epic battle against demon hordes. The first real break in the story involves a dungeon full of demons that is nearly impossible to defeat without using story mode, thanks to their significant resistances and the fact that you haven't leveled nearly enough to have abilities to do damage to them.

More is not better

Well... this is just another RPG in the style of the 'good old' Baldurs gate games. I really wanted to like this game, but it suffers from the same drawbacks, only we're 20 years later... The game starts easy enough. Few spells and abilities and you can easily get killed by an overweight fly. Mid- to lategame you're swamped with spells, more spells, abilities and items. And encounters with huge difficulty spikes: hostiles stacked with protections / spells andsoforth. Finding the right strategy can be fulfilling, however in my opinion it gets tedious fast and resulting me in setting the difficulty to 'story' to get, well, the story going. There is always another demon or other one dimensional eeevil minion around the corner. And yes, like Baldurs gate, you get gawdlike powers in the form of mythic powers. Yay. another cluttering of spells and abilities to manage. Another annoying bit is the crusade management. You have to manage an army (resource management, recruitment). It's like reading a book and then have to stop reading and pick up a totally different book. In my opinion it doesn't belong in this game. It's a roleplaying game. Not a strategy game. Fortunately it can be disabled, however the effort they put in this strategy element could better have been spent in the storytelling. As for the story, it feels forced. It revolves about your character getting sucked (suckered?) in a crusade vs. demons with plentiful of side quests. Story is set, so not much influence in the outcome there. Your companions offer side quest from time to time. They feel forced however. Doesn't sound very positive? That's right. If you really into DnD / Pathfinder and got plenty of time: no doubt, buy this game. You'll enjoy it. The game is too repetetive and therefor time consuming in my opinion, and the story(telling) suffers from it. Would have liked the idea of the 'Through the Ashes' DLC be implemented in the main game, instead of the old Baldurs Gate plot.
