OpenTTD

A great game but no how to play so you have to learn on your feet. Also if you are new to PCs or Gaming I would get some help saving since you have to get a file directory to save. On top of that, there are some debug tools in the game since this is a developing version(14.1) or at least I think so but that could just be the open source type thing. I am new to open-source things so I am not sure what dev tools are left in. All in all a great game (I have not played the original TTD so this is organic not nostalgia). This game is worth all the 0 cents I paid. This game is already good but also free! You should get it since there is nothing to lose.

The integrated online content manager is superb, makes OpenTTD 1000x better than the original - Browse for an interesting scenario, few clicks to download all the required add-ins, start playing a brand new game in a gigantic map with new economy, new veichles, everything seems fresh and amazing. Cannot recommend it enough

There's lots of sim control here, if you can handle the archaic and confusing menus.

It has, and I suspect will continue to be for a long time, my go to game when I just want something to relax with. It's simple, no frills title with layers of complexity for you to explore at your own pace. It's well supported and can be modded and extended with mods from a dedicated and enthusiastic community. It has been, for me at least, a gold standard of gameplay since it's release.

Simple in nature, but still a great example of an interesting economic/logistics simulator
