Description

Simplicity to perfection.

To be played in bursts.

By design, there is no story.

Only crazy kung-fu.

You're surrounded, outnumbered and have to use any weapon you can get your hands on to dismantle your opponents in a flurry of kung fu. That's the essence of OFDP2, the world's fastest brawler. It features the original OFDP's unique two-button mechanics which we've spent the last five years perfecting. Speed and precision are key in this whirlwind fighting frenzy, as players maintain control over the 26 different unlockable skills, frenetic gameplay, and classic kung fu-inspired animations.

ATTACK LEFT or ATTACK RIGHT

We want to show that a fighting game can be complex without cumbersome button combinations. Once players complete the tutorial levels and learn the basics, they'll see that this is the most intense two-button game ever made.

With 1000 different animations available, literally, anything is possible—particularly when players unlock each of the 26 available skills. Having these skills available simultaneously is a major design challenge that encompasses the core of what OFDP2 is trying to achieve. Seeing the game with all 26 skills is a spectacle unique to OFDP2.

We built this game as a palette cleanser between other games in your library. It was designed to deliver a quick hit of adrenaline as fast as possible.

You can't get a feel for the gameplay from watching videos. The flow of combat is something we spent years tweaking. It's what makes OFDP2 unique. Only by playing it will this become clear.

*You can turn the announcer on or off in the options.

*64 bit operating systems only.

*Windows 7 might have issues playing the few video files in the game.

A thouroughly addictive knockout!

It‘s finally here! I have to admit, I was sceptical about this one. The first One Finger Death Punch was a surprise indie hit that managed to get a maximum amount of mileage out of a minimalistic concept (left mouse button to hit left, right button to hit right). Somehow, this ended up being the recipe to one of the most fun games I ever played. One Finger Death Punch was pure gaming bliss and damn close to perfection, which is why I seriously doubted that the makers could catch lightning in a bottle again. The trailers, which featured much more sophisticated and fluid animation than the first one (which looks cool, but could easily have worked against a game that's based entirely on quick reactions) gave me further doubts. All of these doubts were smashed when I played the actual game and it turned out to be as good as, if not better than, the first. This is one of those rare games that just manage to put you "in the zone": It has a nearly hypnotic effect where at some point the frenzied action becomes an almost zen-like experience where you obliterate enemy after enemy as if in a trance. Remember that scene from The Matrix where Agent Smith exasperatedly swings his fists at Keanu Reeves and Keanu blocks these punches with ease? That‘s how boss this game will make you feel! The end came a bit apruptly, but that's probably some unrealistic expectation, considering I already had logged around 20 hours into this by the time the credits rolled. And there's still a whole bunch of stuff to do: Optional levels, survival mode, co-op and the delightful No, Luca, No!-mode, where the developer's pet cat Luca partially obscures your screen and you chase him off by swiping your mouse. This will probably keep me busy for another 20 hours. I'm having a blast with it, wonderful stuff! Now, PLEASE bring the first one here as well! It may be overshadowed in every regard by the second one, but it‘s still an absurdly fun game in its own right that deserves to be played and enjoyed.

Superb game ruined by no support.

Sad story! Sequel of amazing One Finger Death Punch. 2D kungfu arcade where your only goal is to kill everyone whos trying to kill you by your mighty crazy kungfu. Minimalistic graphic, minimalistic controls, extreme speed and maximum fun. Game made by two unknown persons was a huge success, you can still find this game in all time top 20 of best rated games on Steam platform. Sequel is just upraded OFDP, more game modes, more enemy variations, bigger challenge. This should be even better than first game, maybe game of the year, but... Devs literaly patched the game for just few months, until console release. After this point they totaly ignores all reports about very serious bug in game which can make a main campaign unfinishable. Yeas, game has pretty nasty bug which can randomly appear. For this reason buying this is nothing else than hazard. You can enjoy fantastic game, but your progress can be stopped even on first game map, which also happened to me. Hard to say if same but is in console version, i never tried. Sad example how money can turn talented devs into lazy b*******. If you want enjoy this without risk, take first One Finger Death Punch. Awesome game which works great. Sequel is pure loterry, you can win amazing game or game which will troll you. It's our choice.

Simple to learn, hard to master.

If you never played the first one, you just have to know that this is a game that could be played for just 2 minutes during lunch break, or for an entire day non stop if you are for this kind of things. You will feel the need to improve, because it will make you feel like a super warrior with spectacular moves even if you are just using 2 fingers. The price is super low compared to the offered lenght of the game (potentially infinite) and the contents. So, JUST BUY IT. If insted you already played the first one, just know that I can't say this is better... but neither I can say that it is worse... it is just different. One of the most useful improvement is the timing after events, in fact, in the first game, grabbing stuff/cinematic moves/brawler fights were able to ruin your flow making you miss a hit after them, but in this game, you'll have no issues with them. On the other side, it lost some "ancient china" feel... now there are guns, and no different random fighting styles at every play... But there is too much to say to compare the 2 games... so... JUST BUY IT.

Awesome

This game is awesome. The concept is super simple. The controls are just 2 buttons - one button attacks left, the other one attacks right. Enemies come from either side of the screen, and as they come into range, you have to hit the corresponding button to attack them. If you miss your timing, you leave yourself open to an attack. If you are hit, you lose a life. The round ends once you defeat all enemies or you die. Some slight variations of this formula aside, that's basically it! The pace of the game is very fast, and enemies often come in groups of assorted different types. The "basic" enemy dies in one hit, but the tougher ones take more hits, while others dodge your attacks or throw projectiles or perform other trickery. You are free to hit an enemy on either side of the screen that is within range, and sometimes it is advantageous to attack one over the other. So you really have to make split second decisions and rapidly adapt to changing circumstances to survive. And as you get into the "zone" and you are hitting those buttons in perfect sync, your stickman performs hundreds of different poses and animations, and occasionally special moves that not only look awesome, but tend to tilt the odds in your favor (for example, by hitting multiple enemies). You can also unlock powerful abilities that charge up during combat and trigger "whenever they are ready" (for example, one ability wipes out all enemies on screen). With bodies flying in every direction, and your character just being a total badass and throwing special moves left and right the game becomes just this marvelous symphony of violence. The sound and music are amazing. The effects and general "flow" of the game are excellent. The formula has been streamlined to perfection. This is a thoroughly addictive game where all elements fit together very well. The pure awesomeness of it is very difficult to express in mere words here, so my recommendation is: buy it! You will not regret it.

An absolute blast to play

This game has no plot, and that is not a knock on it at all. Your goal is dismember stick figures by the hundreds, kung fu style. And occasionally Rambo style. And sometimes Leatherface or Yoda style. It is mindless twitch fun, and it is _so_ good. The one downside of this game is that it is hard on your wrist. Small price to pay, though.
