Noita is a magical action roguelite set in a world where every pixel is physically simulated. Fight, explore, melt, burn, freeze and evaporate your way through the procedurally generated world using spells you've created yourself. Explore a variety of environments ranging from coal mines to freezing wastelands while delving deeper in search for unknown mysteries.

Noita is being developed by Nolla Games, a company set up by 3 indie developers, all of whom have worked on their own projects in the past.
The three gents in question are:
Petri Purho
Petri is best known as the creator of Crayon Physics Deluxe. In his youth he also made a lot tiny freeware games. He has also made a bunch of board games, but he hasn't told about it to anyone. So please keep it a secret.
Olli Harjola
Olli released his first commercial game The Swapper in 2013. Besides indie games, he also dabbles in music, live visuals and making programming languages.
Arvi Teikari
Arvi is also known as Hempuli. Over the years he has released a lot of tiny experimental games, so many in fact that he is unaware of all of them. One of the games he remembers making is Baba Is You.

Noita is not just a rogue-like. Noita is not just a game where you can destroy the whole level. Noita is a type of game, where your "Game Over" is a part of fun. And you can't predict how you will die in another run. Sometimes it comes from monsters, sometimes from yourself, sometimes from level itself.
I don't know what will become this game in release, but I can say that core gameplay is solid and hella addictive. For me Noita is game of the year.
Prepare to die often, mostly because of your own weapons.
The game has so many features that it doesnt tell you about, all it shows you are the controls, the rest is up to you to discover... And there's always more. And the deeper you dig the more likely it is that you will anger some ancient deity in the process.
By far the best 2D action game with destructible environments since Cortex Command, with nothing quite like it.
Noita is not for everyone for sure, but if you can handle some frustration and sometimes a slower start and you like to tinker with wands and or like speedruns, this game might also be for you.
Wand mechanic is awesome and there is so much to explore in Noita.
