No Man's Sky: Breach update is here!

Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.

In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

Now including...

Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon and VOYAGERS (6.0).

And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.

Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).

An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.

Embark on an epic voyage

At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.

Find your own destiny

Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.

Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.

Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.

Share your journey

The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

Good game, not so good stability!

I was having fun with this game. While it is true going from planet to planet can seem a little repetitive but it never became boring. I could quite easily see myself spending a long time playing this game and never making it to the centre of the universe! You would find plenty to do on one planet let alone the billions of other ones there are out there to explore! My low rating of the game comes from the fact that due to technical errors on the games side after more than 9 hours of game play, without any warning the game crashed. Upon restarting the game, I had lost my save file and was being forced to restart right from the beginning. At this stage I could fully recommend this game on concept and game play alone, I could even forgive the frame rate drops and push through because it is a fantastic game! However I don't believe anyone wants me to recommend a game that at this early stage of release will lose all your progress without warning!

Depends on the starting planet.

Well.. at first i was a bit disappointed. My first starting planet/system was only rocky based toxic planets. Really not nice for the eyes. After is noticed i missed out some important stuff for the beginning I decided to start over again. Now i got a nice starting planet, lots of animals and a nice environment. I can't wait till they add the building ability's.

Graphically nice, but empty..

Visually, it is a great game. Content wise... not really. Like (nearly) any other procedural game I have ever played. It fails.. because as useful procedurals are to generate content in a map. It is also without a plan. And that quickly becomes painfully obvious in this game. Or version of it I should say. Because I do think they really did have a better game once. But then the flooding happened, and I think what we see now is an earlier backup. If true, then they did what they could achieve with what little time they had left. The reason I think so, is because there are other videos out there, with much more content in them. Content there is no sign of in the released version. But it is all speculation. I am just saying I think there is a reason why it have the lack of content, and issues that it does have. I won't discuss promises etc.. since I suspect there is something behind this (see above) But I will say that the way the game works now, it is incredibly boring very very quickly. And as impressive as it could have been, it ended up not being so. At best this is a 3 star game. It's OK, you will have some fun with it. But I would suggest playing this just to waste some time, and in small batches. I've uninstalled it now, and I doubt I will ever start it up again. With multiplayer, this could have been a winner. And I think they know it too, so let's see what happens. But I for one, won't continue playing in its current state. Too repetitive, and boring. I was also one of the few that suffered no performance problems with the game. That's why I am not talking about it.

Good game

Been playing on and of since launch. Game play is as I expected and graphics look great (see sys info). I have had only one CTD after a long play session (all night-er) and only noticed slow down once during intro and once in game (saved game point and restarted). The game play can seem repetitive and some may think this is a problem but I knew what to expect and that is what I got! One small issue that is frustrating. GOG have put in a disclaimer saying that the GOG client is needed to access online features of the game. I did not see this disclaimer in place at any time leading up to launch / pre-order period and would probably not have bought NMS if I had.
