No Man's Sky: Voyagers update is here!

Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.

In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

Now including...

Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon and VOYAGERS (6.0).

And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.

Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).

An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.

Embark on an epic voyage

At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.

Find your own destiny

Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.

Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.

Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.

Share your journey

The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

This game has come a long way

I remember the absolute abortion of a game this released as back in 2016 and watched a friend play a couple of hours (of rock shooting) to my dismay....well I bought this game 3 days ago because of the NEXT update and a price I considered good enough and haven't been able to stop playing since. It has enough objects of interest per planet to keep me amused, the exploring of different areas and topography is fun and it has solid base building. All the things to keep me amused for a long time. Now I just need to try out the multiplayer.

A nice trip in the Galaxy

Worth your money if you like exploring infinite space, discovering beautiful landscapes and building some cool bases. Far from perfect, but the atmosphere is great. Better to wait for Gog Sales.

a great open world exploration game.

I've read the reviews about how the game has no direction, No maps, Or compasses, And quite a few other things that just aren't true. There is a compass when your on planet. there is a map when your in space. there is a galactic map that shows where you've been. There are three main quest lines that direct you towards new gear, Or required glyphs that you need to use a portal. Or just to put you in the right direction. However, Every solar system has sub quests of their own, That give you rep, gear and money. At first you won't recognize the need for reputation, And just want to go have a dog fight in space. That's fine, But eventually the lore of the game starts to make sense to you, And you change the way you play. Or quit, And write a bad review. There are many shortcuts to wealth and power that you have to learn to exploit, Such as buying and scrapping ships for upgrade modules for your favorite ship. buying and selling cobalt at trade terminals will allow you to make a fortune fast, As long as you have the resources to make warp fuel. There are literally dozens of ways to get a lot of money fast. And if you don't like playing alone, Just turn on multiplayer, Or go to the anomaly, Those ships coming and going out of there are all human players embarking on multiplayer missions that anyone can do. I usually do them alone because their so easy, But sometimes i get paired with other people anyway. The game is actually a lot of fun once you learn to play it.

I like it

Although it is not a title that is liked be everybody I really have fun with this game. At the beginning it was just average but since it was continously updated and improved you really can enjoy it. As mentioned before by some other people it might be a bit boring since it is repetitive. But this is really obvious if you play a game where the game world is generated procedural. Who does not know what that means should inform him-/herself before buying the game. What makes the game great is that you aren't in a rush to do something. Wether you like to explore or to build, to take up missions or just follow the quests - it's your own choice. Besides this you might get an idea of how huge a galaxy really is. At some point you maybe begin to think how small (or insignificant) someone is, within galactical dimensions. For me the only negative aspect is the performance. Although it runs okay on my PC it could be better. But I look forward for further optimisation towards this.

A solid exploration game with lots to do

(109 hours played as of review) I only started playing this shortly after the Desolation update, but I haven't been able to stop playing it since purchasing, and I still haven't gotten through everything the game has to offer. I felt it took a while to get used to how the gameplay loop worked, but after about 15 hours I was able to traverse between solar systems and got drip-fed ways to access content outside the main questline where you can improve and personalise your time in-game. Content like building a good base, upgrading your ship, purchasing freighters, and engaging in the wide variety of planets and solar systems you explore in the game. You do many of these things either through the space stations that appear in many solar systems or the game's social hub that you can access while you're in space. Want a fleet of ships to get cash, resources and rare items? Earn money doing missions, or exploit the in-game economy (which honestly feels too easy to do if you're content doing some repetitive tasks) and you'll be able to buy them while exploring. Selling alien weed? Spend some time harvesting and unlocking the upgrades to grow plants and that's possible. Want to collect resources more easily? Learn how to make automatic mining stations and make a network of portals to teleport to each resource as you need them. I've had issues with the game occasionally freezing up for a few seconds, the camera occasionally not switching views properly and have had 2 complete crashes. They didn't ruin the game too much for me to stop enjoying it since the autosave is pretty forgiving, but I feel they're worth mentioning. I've enjoyed my time exploring the imaginative worlds, creatures, characters and stories you encounter. The dialogue feels grand, complimenting the scope of the game and the sound design is good with an engaging and immersive soundtrack. If you can get past a few small issues I would recommend playing if you have the time/patience to let it grow on you.
