No Man's Sky

I was the first to feel sad for the people who bought in on release and felt all the dissapointment they felt. BUT... Now No Man´s Sky is a completely different game. I very rarely write reviews but I feel that in this case, it is completely unfair to judge the game for what it WAS and not for what it is now. We as customers should not give a damn if the game comes from a small team or a big team. Afterall, small teams have created masterpieces (see Witcher III) that wrote history in gaming and changed it´s course, while big studios fail to deliver year after year. That said, the small, tiny actually, team behind this game, have delivered a great accomplishment. They were late, yes. It felt like they lied, yes. Some people gave their money back then and were greatly disappointed because what they bought was not what they paid, yes. But it is now. In fact, now in my personal opinion its worth is more than 60 dollars or euros or whatever. It is a captivating experience no matter in which game mode you play it, it is fun, entertaining, interesting, endless. It involves exploration that never gets boring, you can choose if you want to play survival style, or building and colonising or action or just exploring, or all at the same time. I highly recommend it even on its original price.

Updated into a Grand Universe hoped-for at launch. We, as Interlopers, have never had it so good, as the Cosmos has graced us all with both a vibrant, creative, relaxed lifestyle —if we choose— as well the alternate option to ply the space lanes, living that harrowing, danger-laden existence of the explorer. Either path is as fulfilling as its other mode. Fly ‘em both. Build. Learn. Fly. Fight. Trade. Piracy. Haul. Harvest. Negotiate. Explore. Catalogue. Pursue discoveries. Pioneer inter-species relations. Name some unclaimed planets. SHARE!

Now it is really fun and it has a lot of things to do, if you like space games, you should give it a try

...which is being constantly bashed by FPS aficionados. I understand that this is not a proper review, but I just wanted to say that if you've never lost yourself in a Heinlein or an Asimov novel, probably this game is just not for you.

This game is amazing, despite having a rough start the developers (Keep in mind its a small team of around 20) have been keeping to their word and updating it constantly from the huge updates to the hotfixes which have been plentiful since the beyond update they have made the game into something totally different from day 1. I think reviews from those still salty about the initial release should be disregarded ad this game now is totally different, Hello games could have just moved on but no they stuck to their guns and worked their backsides off and this should be commended rather than focusing on the initial realease. everyone deserves a second chance and the devs have certainly taken this by the horns. I wil admit this game wont be for everyone there is a certain calmness vibe to the whole game, its not about fighting and action but rather exploration, expanding, crafting, base building and finally decent multi-player, while still having a story element to provide some context, none of which was in version 1.0 While this update has bought some bugs, to some users, my experience has been perfect and with constant fixes this game will be stable for all very soon. Now is the perfect time to jump into this massive game if your looking for a more relaxed adenture into deep deep space
