No Man's Sky: Voyagers update is here!

Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.

In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

Now including...

Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon and VOYAGERS (6.0).

And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.

Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).

An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.

Embark on an epic voyage

At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.

Find your own destiny

Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.

Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.

Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.

Share your journey

The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

The perfect example of a turnaround

I own the game on Steam, not on GoG. No Man's Sky today is not the same as when it came out. When No Man's Sky came out, it was a disaster, but the devs put their heads down and kept working at the game. This game is the perfect example of a game that became amazing and became good. This is the perfect example of an amazing turnaround. Very highly recommended

Most improved game of the year award.

When No Man's Sky came out it was a dissaster, like really it was bad. What was promished was not delivered and the game did not run very well. It is a very CPU intensive game, and it will always be that. But now in 2019 No Man's Sky has seen several very big updates, that has me wondering if this game is one of the top games that came from worst to best in its genre. Its a Scifi space travler game first, but it is also now, a Sci fi game that has base building, both underwater and in the sky, it has rides, and new planets to explore. It has gotten its ships UI reworked, combat is better, and theres so many more mission in the game as well. To be honest its like its a completly new game, and as bad as it was, it deserves much higher rating than its curently getting here on GOG: It will always be a Sci-Fi space exploration game, with some survivalbility, with mining and now building. Thats what you get, and if thats not for you this game is not for you. But if you are into that kind of game, you are getting a very big and fun game now. The No Man Sky 2.0 update, will introduce VR, 32 players multiplayer more base building, and so much more. You really should give this game a chance.

Continuous improvements

Game owned on another platform. The game suffered an initial backlash when it came out, mostly from advertising/merketing practice which was deemed to be normal while it really wasn't (marketing material showed a flourishing game universe, contrasting with the emptiness of the real one). Several years later, the developer having gradually improved existing mechanisms, added new one, and brought to life both the universe & the story, many of the people who turned away come back to it. As examples, I heard a lot of people saying they requested a refund at the time, now rebuying the game and having a blast. Do not expect a bumpless ride though, as bugs are still present here or there, but since the development is ongoing, with releases, either major or minor, happening quite often, thing are most probably eventually going to get fixed. Check this (unofficial, community-maintained) Wiki for accurate information about the game: https://nomanssky.gamepedia.com/Patch_notes As a sneak peek, for players who happeaned to play the game before the Beyond update, this one added multiplayer matchmaking into vivid "lobbies"located in what was a boring & empty home to Polo & Nada: The Nexus. They are called "Social Hubs". Part of this update, you also also cooking recipes, more NPCs, VR support, ambient multiplyer (people happening to be in the same location can see each other, including all details/customizations), creature taming, improved base building (power), starships revamp, Vulkan graphics engine support. - If you happen to have been frustrated by the game before, you would be surprised how things have changed... Do not take my word for it though: go for it. - If you happen not to know the game, careful of reviews being more than 2 years old, as NEXT (2018-07-24) was already a major update with loas of QoL improvements

A Completely different game from launch

The average score for this game does not represent reality. It is a completely different game from what was launched, much closer, and sometimes better than what was promised at launch. Definitely, Hello Games gave a lesson on how to brush off launching problems and give their customers what they expected from the start. Honestly, I think the review system should adapt to this kind of developer behavior and allow the reviews to better reflect these changes. Old reviews push down a score of a game that is much closer to five stars. I do not usually write reviews, but I think this kind of appreciation for your customers should be spoken for. Congrats Hello Games!

Absolutely everything promised and more!

They really need to clean up the old reviews for this game. When it came out, it fell short of expectations. Since then, they've basically rewritten the entire game from the ground up. It's not one of the greatest sandbox space games ever created and if you've been avoiding it because of all the anti-hype that was started years ago, it's time to buy.
