fun in bursts, jump in, jump out, though the only downside is the weird in between hospital sequences. makes it confusing lol but im also just dumb

I have poured so many hours into both the GOG and Steam releases of this game. After having a super-crappy day, this game is the kind of relaxing as-difficult-as-you-want-it catharsis I find is sorely needed. Nightmare Reaper takes the best ideas from a ton of legendary FPS games, adds some of its own amazing ideas, and throws a ridiculously long and enjoyable campaign at you, featuring grinding arenas and multiple minigames (these can be disabled in the options while not affecting the gameplay). Small game team vibe, with the excellent Andrew Hulshult on music. The game is a Boomy-Loot-Shoot distilled to a mirror shine, with tons of weapons and weapon modifiers. With the upcoming co-op update, I will without question pour hundreds more hours into this amazing game. I can't recommend this enough.

you like roguelites, classic shooters, loot and shooters, platforming? cause these are my favorite things and they are exicuted perfectly. buy it and then tell all your friends to buy it

Ok i have to say i don't review games often but this needs to be said. I'm not so much a fan of looter shooters or roguelites either i may play one now and then. This game reminded me of my childhood playing Duke Nukem with my friends over LAN. It's like the devs took all the things i liked as a child (from every game i ever played) and put them in this game. It's extremely fun and addicting, great sound and music, dark and also a bit of a horror element there all well put together. There are a lot of mini-games you can play as well that are basically ability trees which are also fun to play to unlock and add more power to the main character. As you progress you can also unlock various arena type missions and progress the plot of the game as well. And if the rng favors you you might get a weapon that can save your ass till the end (i believe this happened to me!) Buy this even if you are not a fan of either roguelites or looter shooters!

If you're in need of a good looter shooter that doesn't focus on realism outside of the nightmare being very real, this is a fantastic looter shooter that feels just amazing to play. Pick this game up, and Bhop into infinity while collecting coins and jade. Seriously, you won't regret this purchase. Sometimes it can feel unfair, but each time is randomly generated, so keep at it!
