Nexus - The Jupiter Incident Soundtrack
Description
At the dawn of the 22nd century the conquest of space and the colonization of the solar system has been taken over by several huge and ambitious megacorporations. Although extremely delicate and vulnerable, a balance is maintained by these companies. It has now been 60 years since the terrible catastrophe that befell Noah's Ark, the first colony ship of mankind.
On the very edge of the solar system the companies make a discovery which will shift the technological advantage and upset the balance. And so a new conflict is born: "The Jupiter Incident". You are Marcus Cromwell, a young but already famous captain. With your legendary spaceship Stiletto you find yourself in the middle of the conflict.
Nexus: The Jupiter Incident is one of the few examples of a TFS: a Tactical Fleet Simulator. The strong, elaborate story takes you from mission to mission and allows different approaches. It’s up to you which tactics you choose to bring each mission to a successful conclusion, although you can lose a battle and still go on to keep fighting in the war. A reward system enables you to repair, upgrade and enhance your ships depending on the approach you chose. Mission briefings let you roam through an unbelievably accurate 3D animated star map system.
Unique mission scenarios that range from stealth and espionage to fight and rescue!
Hone your crew and watch them grow stronger over time.
Includes a fully documented mod kit: a Nexus model viewer, sample models from the game, and modeling guidelines.

Nexus was a lot of fun when it came out. The campaign story was unique for a space adventure. The graphics in the ships and combat were cinema quality. One of the most gorgeous space combat games i've ever played.
The only downsides were the lengths in every mission (which seemed to go on for hours). That and the horrid voice acting. The story was still strong but the characters were just so bloody dull, I wanted to just mute them and be done with it.
I played Homeworld. I liked it. I liked this game more. Not as a memorable though. Really it had a more compelling story but it didn't have the cut scenes to make it stick in your mind. Even so I remember the ending being epic.
The game play and everything else about this game is better then HW. If you liked HW you should get this one.
It's way more story and tactics driven then HW but the plot keeps you humming along. In game looks really good and at the time I thought they could do a really good Babylon 5 mod. But not having the human touch that was put into the cut scenes does take away from the story.
Still it's a really good game, well worth playing.
An incredible, epic game. Superb story and gameplay. The nuances and depth are beyond compare. Just recently picked it
Up. How did I miss this? Superb, challenging and a vision !
One of the few games with profund aspects of sci-fi, an imersive ambient, and a lot of nice surprises. Really sad that Nexus2 couldnt reach the necessary funds on kickstarter.
