A great GOG game
No need to get those EE; good old ones are as good or better.

Don't Touch This.
Obnoxious interface Goofy graphics Technical problems and bugs Goofy story It is hands down the worst game I have ever played. I would suggest you play the original Neverwinter Nights and its many expansions instead, as that this sequel is not.

No multiplayer key - multi unavailable
No multiplayer key available. I bought it specifically to play tonight with a buddy of mine, i guess our gaming session is ruined. GOG.com should at least warn the buyer he won't be able to play online multiplayer before purchase.

The sequel is not better
I strongly recommend sticking with the original Neverwinter Nights. The interface in this newer version is cumbersome and buggy, and the performance mediocre. The adventures are OK, but the original has many more excellent fan created adventures. I'm going to take this off my computer call it a learning experience.

D&D fun at its finest, for the most part
When I first played Neverwinter Nights 2 I had a lot of issues relating to its stability. Thankfully over the years the patches came out and fixed most of those issues, but the fully functional version is definitely this one (On my PC at least, NWN 2 is a bit infamous for poor optimization). The overall stability is a really nice addition to this rerelease. With this purchase you will get all four campaigns that were made for NWN 2, it can vary between how the four are depending on your opinion. The base game has what could be considered a really cliched story, but if you're like myself, who is very into the lore about the Illefarn empire, you might find the base game's story pretty enjoyable as it tells of what happened to the strange Elven, human and dwarven empire . It even furthers the story of their protector, protector that plays as the big-bad of the campaign, for quite sad reasons. Mask of the Betrayer continues the story of your NWN 2 character, but this time you are taken to Rashemen, and you are inflicted with a certain curse, a curse that forces the character to absorb the souls of others to not be destroyed. Overall, its great, but the gameplay aspect with the soul eating can be really annoying. Storm of Zehir... wasn't all that great, its one of those cases where you create a game, and then add far too much to the plate and barely balance most of it out. I haven't played the entire of this expansion yet, so I can't really put a full opinion on it. But the start of the expansion was really odd to get into, and pulls a lot of BS (Namely not allowing you to rest in any dungeon as far as my memory goes. As a spellcaster D&D fan, this is really damn annoying) Mysteries of Westgate definitely does have a lot of mystery in it as the title suggests, and overall, its story is fairly interesting, sadly I can't put my full opinion on this either due to not playing the entire game. But what I've seen so far is pretty fun, if a bit confusing. /ArgonianLord
