Might and Magic® 9

I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would! It's ok, it's not that bad. I mean, apart from a few bugs, some of which can be game breaking....so save often and use all save slots. But truthfully, I had fun. Story is decent, music is great! The quests and the dungeons are rather nice I would say, especially towards the late game. There is a good amount of content and might & magic mechanics as expected. The dialogue when you finally reach Arlesgard is probably the funniest thing in all M&M history :P

The other parts of this series that i have played (6-9) are amazing and in my opinion still hold up to this day, but this one , they tried to make the leap to 3d and fell flat on their face. The graphics look like the thief series, they just reusing jokes and humour from the other games and practically ruined the game play mechanics. i am honestly sorry to say this but avoid this one get the others, i have bought at least 3 copies of each of the others at one time or another, but this one - bought it once, actively looked for sidequests (and found next to none) then rushed to the end and didn't even finish because to the end it was painful to play. In conclusion - Get the old ones NOT THIS ONE.

It has all the basic pros of the MM6-8. However, you will miss the old inventory system and, of course, fly spell as there is not as much freedom in movement as its predecessors. You will also probably like the new mouse targeting system which makes the game movement feel like in a normal FPS (including mouse view). On the other hand you will have to use shortcuts to get to menus (as usual in the modern 1st or 3rd person RPGs). Is summary, with the latest unofficial patch the game is quite enjoyable. I have finished the game like 3 times already. So if you getting bored replaying MM6-8 again and again, try this one.

ive played all MM games from 6 and up. i LOVE the serien and have played countless hours in the MM universe, especially in MM9 first off, i know the game is buggy (many can be fixed with the patch tho) and the only game breaker for me was that i could sell item that you need to go to heaven. and i did, un-knowingly that it would be useful (i got 30k or something). anyway, the game is clearly unfinished, reasoned that 3do went bankrupt and rushed the game at the end, hoping it would save them (it didn't) Else, the story line is amazing, like all MM games you can really live yourself into the world as there are few boundaries and the many many items and artifacts make you insane for lust to explore. so, for the story, it is easily one of the best game stories there is, however it lacks a lot of graphic and AI (even though it is a great imrpovement)

Game fails to load in Windows 10. Avoid unless you have an older OS.
