It does not run properly
I have tried this game some years ago but I did not like it. Now when I finally manage to start, I can not move in the game nor control anything. It is broken. Other MM games are brilliant. Get them instead.

This game is FUN
I know what I say is controversial but this is honestly a really fun game. Yes it has flaws and the game was on a budget due to bankruptcy but that doesn't mean this game is the worst game in the world. I loved the concept and mechanics but the only problem I had was the plot, it was so weird and random. Regardless of that though I always had to have a lich in my party, the rest I would play by ear and decide what it was I wanted. I thought the beastiary had some really cool designs and to be honest perfer the designs on the enemies in comparison to might and magic 7 enemies. Don't get me wrong though I am sad that new world computing shut down due to bankruptcy that never spells good for a game that was on a budget but the game still is enjoyable. If you wanna play it get it while it is on sale. I hope my review will help convince you to purchase it.

Game does not work
Game doesn't work, it freezes as soon as I press the key for inventory, map or any other screens. Tried all combinations of compatibility settings and game options. Dissapointing that GOG sells games in this state.

MMIX (FPS)(RPG) - Unsurpassed era gem
Hi, excellent (RPG) + first person shooter (FPS), with gold (credits). Explore many locations as you traverse the realms to gain and complete quests, locations like, dungeons, castles, underground, cities + much more - a real delight. Choose your path to advance (Might or Magic) in skills and spells, note: even in the Might path you can progress to firing spells. Advance in (Hit points, Armor, Shield, Magical resistances, Ranged, Dodge, Blade, Bow, Disarm trap, Identify item) + much more. Has configurable keys like, movements, jump, crouch, ID monsters, party formation, autorun, quests, map, spells + much more. Good amount of options available (ex: detailed textures, head bob (on/off), choose cursor, always run + much more). Can fire weapon + spell with the mouse while moving. Drag items into character outfit screen (ex: armor, weapon, shoes, gloves, bow, rings, amulet, helmet, shield or second weapon). Heaps of spells to learn, like - fireball, featherfall, torchlight, sparks, recall, chain lightning, column of fire, heal, resurrection, Lloyd's beacon, paralyse, town portal + much more. Enemies like - (skeletons, bugs, Liches, hounds, soldiers, midgets, giants, lizards, ghosts) + more. Buy/sell items, collect items from corpses, chests. Enemies appear back in the realms after a month or so, including new treasures and items. Excellent (RPG), (FPS), graphics, design, surprising long depth, Freedom of exploration (hit), a real winner for enjoyment. A real hit with NPC's voice speeches + chatter, sound effects, great eerie music. (When creating the party choose keys (1-4) between character creation, otherwise you cannot save the names. Also if becoming a (Lich) take one per ingredients needed to become a - (Lich - see chosen pathway) otherwise you cannot delete the other - (Ingredients + Jars) from your inventory, I found all other items can be deleted. If dismissing a character that joins your party double tap that characters number (ex: 5 or 6 or 7) a dialog appears to dismiss them). It really is a magically unsurpassed (FPS)(RPG) for its era. Doesn't work under Windows 10.
Doesn't start on W10, despite supposed W10 compatibility. MM, otherwise, lovely. Would love to play it, which is why I bought it.
