Might and Magic® 6-pack Limited Edition

These are six of the best examples of American born RPGs there ever was AND all for one low price together. Each one capable of absorbing months worth of your time as you search for the answer to the quest (which, admittedly, was darn easy to lose sight of) or just plain upgrading your party with new gear or hirelings. Might and Magic and Might and Magic 2 are what introduced me to role-playing games. Final Fantasy 2 and 3 may have solidified my love for them, but it was Might and Magic 2 that got me on the path of the role-playing game. In my opinion these are far superior to the old AD&D gold box offerings which more often than not left you frustrated and Ultima which if you lost the booklet you were SOL. The core gameplay of M&M is form a party and set out on your quest. Movement is accomplished going N-S-E-W on a grid. A minmap lets you know where you are, but maps are limited so you'll wind up making your own with graph paper. Combat consists of taking turns with the creatures you encounter based on speed. Either attack with your weapons or use spells, depending on the classes of your party. Leveling is somewhat slow and infrequent, but since you need to visit a trainer to accomplish the actual leveling up this is fine. Ultimately it's a fairly standard group of RPGs in regards to gameplay, but there's literally thousands of things to find and do. Sphinx riddles, dungeons galore, quests, you will never run out of things to do. Don't wait, buy this now and see why we love it.

I got this game mainly for Might and Magic 6, I consider it the best in the series. But after playing through 3, 4 and 5, I realized how might and magic evolved and became what it is today. This is such an amazing game collection. 4 Amazing games and 2 dated but fun games, all for 10 dollars. Seriously, your wallet should be clawing at the monitor for this game. Please get it.

Although my six pack is currently in my download queue, I can tell you all that just Might and Magic: Mandate of Heaven is worth the $9.99. I first played Mandate of Heaven when I was 8 years old (when the game was released). Back then I mostly watched my uncle play, but a few years later I began to play this amazing game and I can truly say it is the best RPG of all time. You HAVE to try it.

MM2 was the 2nd computer game I played once I got my commodore 64. Bards Tale 2 beat it by a week. Thanks to GOG I have all the MM games including Heros and the best part they are patched and no CD required. I could write a book on the pros of these games. The replay ability on it is endless and its fun to see what happens when you use different groups for each class and race bring something to the mix. If you want a great RPG experience and lots of fun then you found the right Game pack for you!
