Might and Magic® 6-pack Limited Edition

My introduction to the worlds of Might and Magic was with the first title ported to the Sega Genesis, in 1191 Electronic Arts ported MM Gates to Another World and I was hooked. I would come home from high school, eat and sleep for about 6 hours and stay UP ALL NIGHT playing. This went on for weeks from October to December and by the end I had put into the game nearly 850 Hours when I beat it the NEXT YEAR. By far the MOST fun I have ever had in any RPG in my life EVER. I LOVED that game and then they ported M&M Isles of Terra for the SNES. I enjoyed that game but I just couldn't replicate that first experience and never finished it. But the sheer amount of options and interactions in these games are HUGE. Well worth the collections weight in Dwarven Gold. I recommend buying this either on sale or off, it is well worth it - Hopefully you'll receive as much enjoyment as I did.

...I played during my first year at university and I was hooked. I eagerly awaited and purchased every one that followed, even the disaster that was Might & Magic IX. Might & Magic VI & VII were my two favorites but I enjoyed all of III to VIII. If you ever decide to get this, along with VII & VIII, there is an awesome mod that merges VI, VII, and VIII into one "World of Enroth" game on the M&M VIII engine. It is called the merge678 patch and can be found through Nexus for Might & Magic VIII.

In the late 1990's I was a teen PC gamer. I played some of the greats like Everquest, Ultima Online, Baldur's Gate and so forth. I often saw ads in PC gamer for the Might and Magic games but never delved into one... that was a huge mistake. Now 20-years later I'm playing M&M6 and honestly it's a blast. The game's graphics are dated yes but if you can look beyond that there is a truely robust RPG series here that should be enjoyed by all. I've played over 8-hours already of MM6 and I can say it's deep and has a lot of good character building in it. Honestly at this point I can't say enough good things about this series. Do yourself a favor, pick this 6-pack up and enjoy countless hours of good, old-fashioned RPGing. I know I will be.

The amount of old school gameplay belonging to one of the CRPG founding father series here is ludicrous. Even if a player feels no urge to play through the arguably "badly aged" difficulty of the first two games, M&M 3 and 4-5 are among the best open world, first person RPGs ever made. They have a goofy charm and complexity to them that makes one think what success they would be if made today, using the graphics of Skyrim or something similar nowadays. To top it all, it comes with the first of the 2.5D trilogy of 6-7-8, to some the best Might and Magic game. It made a great leap to "semi-3D" via that game but arguably its graphics have aged less elegantly than 3, 4, 5 which are pixel art in its finest. Really, this is an absolute no-brainer for any CRPG fan and enthusiast.

Those are great games, 1&2 are probably not playable but starting from 3 all of them are gems. 4&5 are probably the most enjoyable ones, especially as they will combine into one huge game. Just buy it as they are more than worth the price.
