Not the best MOH, I got a little bored with it

What a horrible gameplay! Picked it up via Origin Acces and it's an old game, so I wasn't expecting anything graphical, and was actually surprised by how it looked. Starting the game leads to a terrible long tutorial, which is a pain to play. Honestly, it's like watching a tv show from the 80's, the pacing is just soooo slow. I mean, learning to walk!? Crouch? Why do i need to go through a obstical course and then at the end wait for my team for 5 minutes? My gosh, why the minimal hitting 60 targets with the weapon practice course.. When the game finally started, I was already ready to uninstall and not waste any time on this. But then again, I was already (or finally) ready here to start. So I played trough it, getting on a boat where I had to shoot aircrafts out of the air (don't worry, you don't have too. After shooting 2 out of the air, I already noticed that you can just ride it out without doing anything), getting on a sinking big boat, turning of some valves and picking up some injured soldiers (yes, let me do it, other soldier who is perfectly fine standing next to the doctor and doing nothing!) and dropping them off and the doctor. Sitting behing the big guns, not shooting aircraft, I wondered what happened to my life when suddenly the carrier sunk! So it does matter, they do depend on me shooting down those airplanes! But it was already too late, that was the time I alt-f4'd and proceeded to uninstall.

This is the game that put me off of shooters. The cutscenes mix war footage of POW executions with flashy entertainment. It crosses a line and should have been removed. This is the kind of game that removes the distinction between actions in the real world vs on-screen.

It's a good game and it's fantastic to have it in the shelf, it would deserve 4 stars, but i choose only one for the price: 7.29 euro in discount and 18.19 euro at full price for a 2004 game is really too much. With the same amount i can buy the new Wolfenstein (2015). Origin, a service that i don't like from a company that i don't like, sell it at 9.90 euro at full price. If gog will reduce the price i'll remove my review.
