Old Memories
It was my first game i played on my Xbox 360. I remember racing with my cousin about who finishes the game first. The game's story is phenomenal, and the memories it leaves after you completed the game are wonderful. I highly recommend this game for anybody.

Great sequel, but too short..
Game took around 8 years to make, in that timespan, they did make a visual and hardy installment into the series but at the cost of gameplay time. Story is what you've expect from any cliché mafia movie or book one has seen, but the destruction and visual graphical violence was over the roof for its time. Gun sortiment is basic to medicore and car models is in a good selection for the time periods. With all of this said, the one thing that this title lags is the overall time it takes to complete, you can finish the game is easily 11 hours, if you dont do the side quests. Keep in mind too, that this game is not fully open world, you progress through "chapters", which takes away the feel of freedom. They did release DLCs, that made coming back to the title after completion seem good, but not all of them are good and feels like they tried to sqeeze the last money out of their costumers

Fix for glitchy performance
I got the classic version for free at some point. It slowed to a crawl when cops tried to arrest me. There are recommendations online to set the processor affinity to one core which sort of fixed the slowdown but the game got jittery and crashed. I fixed it by setting the max fps to 60 in the Nvidia control panel. It still slowed down when cops chased me but only for a second or two, Apart from that the game runs smooth with no crashes so far and my GPU fan isn't maxxed anymore. As far as the game goes, I've only done a few chapters but I'm having a good time.

Serious action!
Loved the characters, the map, and its perspective on family. It never gets boring, but I'm not too fond of the save file problem, truly a shame for such an amazing game.

Must play for every gamer.
This is my first major game which i played. My nephew gave it to me in the winter of 2010 or 2011, can't remember now(except that it was a pirated version) and i instantly became hooked to it, probably played it for 1000 hours in my old pc. It is to this day( and since then i played all the rockstar games except the warriors, witcher iii, tlou 1 and 2, most bethesda games and many more great titles) my favorite and my vote for best video game ever, because when mafia 1 was made i was just 1 years old and i only played it after mafia ii. An absolute action classic, arguably the best story in video game history in my opinion. I have bought it in playstation store(as part of mafia trilogy bundle), xbox store and GOG when classic version (which is the best, because remaster is very buggy and has strange textures in some cases) was available. I have replayed it many times since. Only bad thing in this game is realizing how many cut content there was and what it's main designer Dan Vavra had envisioned for it. What could have been it's complete version if 2k gave Vavra more time to make it. It's mid boggling actually. I just home new mafia game they are making(the old country) will have similiar quality storywise, because this series main strong side is good storyline. Maybe it will have some modes like freeride which was of course cut from mafia ii an is available only in limited form as pc mod. Sorry, english is not the main language of mine, so i might have made mistakes.
