Mafia Classic

Mafia does an amazing job of creating a lively city. The world feels real and busy. It really pulls you into the experience. The characters are well done, each with their own unique traits that add to the story. The plot itself is great, keeping you interested as you play through the missions. One of the best parts of the game at least for me is the stealth gameplay. The music in the game is also great, helping to set the mood as you play. However, the game doesn't include any of the original licensed songs, which might be a letdown for some fans. Luckily, you can easily add them back by using a mod so I won't even consider this on the rating. Overall, this is a really fun game with only a small issue that can be fixed easily. If you enjoy stealth games and great storytelling, this one is definitely worth playing

Excelent dificulty, good graphics (for its times on of the best), great handling of cars, cars deformation, effects, excellent story, music, actions.... Dont think - just buy it!

I still remember when this game was first released.. It was around the time when the Grand Theft Auto series was insanely popular.. I saw it sitting on the shelf and it caught my eye immediately.. To this day I couldn't say what it was that attracted me to it, but I bought it anyway, and it has become one of my all time favorite games! For me, the best thing is the ability to mod the game endlessly! The huge fanbase for MAFIA has generated an insane amount of not only packaged mods that you can download and add to your copy of MAFIA, but editiing software itself! These apps allow you to generate your own mods! From simple things like changing scenery or signage and the like, to the more complex like adding different cars to the game. You even have the capability of desigining your own vehicles if you are savvy with 3d modeling, as well as desigining gameplay 'missions' themselves now! It is completely insane! If you are the type who liked the GTA's, you will love MAFIA! It has all the excitement of kill or be killed missions, fast action, awesome characters with whom you work with in the game, and much more! I could go on and on how awesome this game is, but the best thing I can do is say BUY IT AND EXPERIENCE IT FOR YOURSELF! You will not regret it!

Before installing and playing this masterful piece of art of a game on my old dinky PC, I used to be a taxi driver. All of that was over with though, once this game came into my life! I was truly consolidated as one with the mafia in the end. 10/10 still knocks the definitive edition remake outta the park and would be Tommy Angelo anytime again.
