This game has a free roaming experience like the Grand Theft Auto games. It's a classic game so do not expect a 2017 game. It's fair for the price and it's a classic game remember this. It has a lot of hidden easter eggs, the missions can be done any way you want. There is a gun store in the game so make sure you stock up on all the goodies. If you are into Gangster or Mafia themed games then please try this out. It has a great story, if you played Mafia 2 or the new Mafia 3, this is the original ! This game started the franchise !. It's a great piece of video game history if you like Mafia 2 or Mafia 3. What do you lose? a pizza cost 20 bucks, and it's for one time. This you can play for weeks. After many years it is still the Best game I ever played. One of best stories and nice gameplay.

This game is a masterpiece... Still very nice graphic, still great gameplay, still the best story of all MAFIA games. Imho it's better to buy this part of MAFIA than any other MAFIA games. MAFIA 3 isn't MAFIA... If you want to play MAFIA buy this one or MAFIA 2 and even dont think about buying that piece of ****, called dunno why, "MAFIA" 3. Mafia is one of the bestest games that i've ever play, first on PlayStation2 and now on PC. TOTAL MUST HAVE for all MAFIA fans and peoples who never play MAFIA! 10/10

This game comes from my country - Czech Republic, and what else I can say about it, then i am really proud what czech people are able to do. Not only this game was really good for Czech Republic, this game was famous all around the world. And in my opinion with Saints Row its until today only GTA competitor. This game made it between czech gold, as well as ArmA (Operation Flashpoint before), Vietcong, Space Engineers, Factorio or Kingdom Come nowadays. Absolute must buy for whoever is czech, godfather enthusiasist, fan of gta series or whoever who simply love games. Huge thanks to GOG for making this title available again. P.S.: Who else remember 4 CDs struggle? This was quite a beast for distribution. Don't remember much other games having this. :D

i love the game since i first played back in 2002. the gog version is great, other than a the music situation which is foxed by by replacing the files with original. i have tried this on windows 10 via bootcamp on my macbook air i7 2020 model and it does work and plays but it does drop frames here and there and the gamma doesn't change anything and also make the fan ramp up quickly. i compared the performance to the OG original disc version and installed the 1.3 patch and use a no-cd crack and it works better and smoother at highest resolution and max settings and the fan don't ramp up either. Had set compatibly mode to windows xp sp3 and also run as admin for settings and game to save. either way, this game is fanatic and highly recommended
