Not a Larry game...
No contact with Al Lowe was sought for this one, and it's showing. It's a collection of pretty awful minigames. It gets two stars still because they made another installment that was arguable even worse, and with this one showing up I should probably reserve the 1 star for it... as there's no rating below it yet.

A collection of mini games
For a while I actually enjoyed playing the game, after that I played to finish it. It's a casual game, not a bad one even. But after playing the other LSL games, it's a disappointment. There is hardly any adventure left in the game, the dialogs and jokes are flat.

Wait for the new reloaded versions.
There's probably some fun that could be had from this game, but like a few others have said, it's really not Leisure Suit Larry. Your better off saving your money for the reloaded Leisure Suit Larry that's recently been funded on Kickstarter. Hopefully that'll come onto GOG.

Go for the originals
Leisure Suit Larry was the brain child of Al Lowe. He loved and cared for the concept of Larry Laffer. After Larry 7 Sierra Online sold the rights to Codemasters who made this "Leisure Suit Larry." Al Lowe desperately attempted to get in on this game (also the following disaster Box Office Bust.) This game doesn't follow the "Lovable Loser" Larry Laffer but his Millennial nephew Larry Lovage and his adventures through college. Gone is the classic Sierra Online point and click interface, instead bad jumping mechanics and stupid mini-games replace it. If this game wasn't named Leisure Suit Larry it could had beena passable budget title for bored people who want to see wet T-shirts from early 2000's graphical women. Instead this game pretty much pissed all over a great series. Playing this game is like watching Hellraiser 9 or a SyFy sequel to Robocop, it PLAYABLE but it just isn't good. The writers had no idea how to write this game (because this is Al Lowes brain child) so they went with crude college humor with plenty of poorly done rip offs from Jim Belushi movies. If you love the previous games I don't have to tell you to stay away. If you want to see boobs from a 3D girl made in 2004 and love minigames at least wait until GoG puts this on sale. Otherwise wait for the new Leisure Suit Larry Reboot being made by Al Lowe. "Thank Gawd he got the rights back"
