Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude: Uncut and Uncensored!

I remember playing this shortly after release and its nothing more then a bunch of minigames (crap ones at that) tied around a poor attempt at humor. Anyone giving this game a good review has very low standards as a gamer - avoid at all costs.

It's a stain on the good name of Larry Laffer.

I've been in somewhat of a comedy game frenzy lately, playing Monkey Islands, Stacked, Phychonauts and the excellent South Park Stick of Truth, when i saw this on sale i thought hey, Leisure Suit Larry, i heard they were alright games with a few chuckles back in the day. Since the remaster of Grim Fandango is still on its way why not take a punt, see if this is any fun. Ignoring the horny teenage pandering of polygon boobs and such, it could still have some good jokes and characters, on dear god no. The story didnt make me laugh once, it was painful to get through yet it was such a trainwreck for all the wrong reasons i couldnt help but wanna see it right the way through, almost to see if it could get any worse. I didnt find any of the writing clever, funny or engaging at all. It's like a terrificly bad early charlie sheen college series with no laughtrack, the conversations in the game were not written by any sane people, often leading to results which are such a juxtopisition from the context given its stark raving lunacy. The minigames, they are terrible. Once ya played them all in the first 20 minutes be sure to repeat them again and again for the long tedious hours ahead. Then theres the loading times, where it takes a good 20 seconds for almost any action that loads something new, areas take about 10 seconds to walk through to the next loading times and this game wants you to go to and forth everywhere to pad it out. I without a doubt spent more time in the loading screens than playing the game. Which on hindsight is lucky to avoid more minigames and horrific writing but painful to see the budget and focus on the game spent on hiring deadeyed models for photoshoots. Money well spent *clap* *clap* :| If ya desperate for a game like this with boobs i pity you, go watch some porn instead. If however you want a similar fun school esque experience with good gameplay, well written storylines, funny characters and variety, play Rockstars Bully.

I remember always seeing this game in stores and really enjoying the box art! never had the balls to ask my perents to buy it. hah Anyway I finaly bought it and beat it. This is one of my favorite games ever it's sexy and funny. gives off real strong 2000s vibes. Only game i've laughed at more than this one is Resident Evil 6.(and that was for very diffrent reasons.) My revews not that great but somebody has to defend this MASTERPICE!!!!

Was never allowed this game as a child. It has some very fun mini games and good jokes.
